Does this product work by directly touching the teeth? Or does it work systemically? One of my dogs does not chew his food, I'm wondering if it will work for him.

Great product!

I was not convinced this product would do the job, so I was really surprised when it worked in about a week. I have a 10 year old dog with tartar and bad breath, after a few days I noticed a slight change. After a week the tartar is reduced by a lot and no more stinky breath. It does not seem to upset his stomach and I'm considering using for my other dog. I would highly recommend it!

Great stuff

My vet suggested that I get this for my Pom mix because her teeth are hard to keep tartar free.when I opened the jar and saw the teeny tiny scoop and the directions said 1/2 scoop for her size I thought that’s like a pinch of salt! How can that possibly work,well it does and fast at that!I was shocked at the great results,she doesn’t even know she’s getting it! I’m really glad I made this purchase,it will last along time too ,like months!

Really Works!

Started buying this after we adopted a cat who does not tolerate handling well. She's young, so her teeth are in perfect condition and we want to keep them that way. We've been using this in her food for 8 months and her teeth are still just as white as the day we brought her home last year. Also started using with my two dogs, one who will be nine this year, and both have significantly less tarter build up. The vet raved about how great my older dog's teeth look :)

Buy this!!!! ASAP!

I was quoted for a canine dental cleaning for my Corgi Boston. If you want to avoid putting your dog under anesthesia and having a huge hole in your pocket... buy this product. If you want to avoid the nausea stage only put a half spoon in the first few doses and then bump it up to a full scoop. It took about 2 weeks to seeing any change. Now his teeth are completely different and so clean.

Works wonders!

I bought this for my almost 2 year old dog. She's a smaller dog, about 24 lbs, and has had a lot of plaque built up on her teeth. Her back teeth looked really yellow and had brown spots in them. After not seeing improvement with just brushing, I bought this. We are only 4 days in, and her teeth look SO much better, I am seriously amazed! I am so so happy that I tried this product. It definitely beats paying for an expensive dental cleaning!

it works with consistent use!!

I use this for my dogs and cat and have given it a good month to work. Everyone’s teeth are super white and clean! It’s hard to tell how much is half a scoop because the scoop is so small, so it’s an estimate really. I wish they’d make the scoop longer because once the powder gets low then the scoop is nearly impossible to get out of the bottle. I dumped the powder into a ziplock w the scoop to save me the trouble. I’ll order a bigger size next time because I plan to use this long term

Incredible Results Within Weeks

I am using this product on both my dogs and cats and very pleased with the results! I am "particular" about what I feed my animals and the products I use on them. Another words....I stick with the natural and holistic methods if at all possible. I started using this on my 1- 1/2 year old Sheltie and noted within 3 weeks a significant difference in his gums and teeth. One of my cats at 6 years of age had a teeth cleaning at the vets a month or more ago and ran in to issues with her heart I believe related to the anesthesia. No more dental cleanings for my animals under anesthesia! I am so happy to see such positive results and I am now using on both cats and dogs with very positive results!

Can not recommend

I can not recommend this product. Gave this product per directions. All three of my dogs (2 mini doxies and a cocker spaniel) vomited after taking this product. Gave product for only 3 days with the same result all 3 days. Discontinued use of product and vomiting stopped. Threw away remainder of product.

Made my dog's snout itchy

The day I started putting this on her food, she started having an itchy snout. I tried it out for a week and all week she was itching her snout. Once I stopped putting it on her food, she stopped having the itchy snout. So either she was allergic to it or it caused her to have some sort of reaction. Would not recommend for that reason.

Great product!

This has allowed me to be able to scrape tartar from my dog's teeth and help with the plaque buildup. This does not mean your dog won't still need regular brushing and dental care, but will definitely help that tartar stay off.
