I tried to switch dog food brands for my Senior Great Danes. And unfortunately my male continues to get diarrhea. He was good with the slow transition and the first bag. Now we are in bag two and he gets the runs immediately after eating. I did withhold and let his stomach rest and tested one more time with a small bit, 1/8 cup with bland boiled chicken and rice. Only for a hot mess of bowel fluid to come 10min after eating. I think it’s a good product just not a product my Dane can eat. I will be switching back to their previous food.

High quality dog food, I have a Lab who I've been feeding him this for most of his life and adjusted to the senior blend when he was eight years old. We go Backpacking together and at nearly 11 years old we still go on local day hikes between between 4 and 10 miles and he still does a great job. I highly recommend Purina Pro Plan as did my Vet.

Delicious Senior dog food that is easy to eat

Unfortunately our senior dog developed serious gum disease and recently had 28 teeth removed. We switched her to this food, which she loves after it's been soaking

Unfortunately our senior dog developed serious gum disease and recently had 28 teeth removed. We switched her to this food, which she loves after it's been soaking in water a bit to soften. She can eat it very easier. We travel from time to time for extended periods and this dry food is much easier take to the kennel than several cans of wet food.

My dog waits impatiently every morning at his food bowl for his daily breakfast. We tried the chicken first, and now the beef flavor. He loves both. He is almost 13 years so his teeth are not in the best condition. The kibble is small enough so he doesn’t have to problem eating it. His stools are normal. I am a fan, and so is he.

Love the quality of this dog food. Always fresh. I add a couple scoops of the canned to his feedings also. His BMs are always perfect. He never vomits or has any upset. He has grown to his full potential on this. Has some racing dog in him and bounds around the back yard, sometimes leaping like a gazelle. He's very healthy. Been Purina since I adopted him several months ago.
