First, brush animal to remove dirt and dust. Moisten (but do not wet to the point of dripping) a soft cloth and rub over the hair. It is best to apply by rubbing against hair growth. Give special attention to legs, shoulders, shanks, neck and facial areas where flies are most often seen. After application, brush out thoroughly to bring out bright sheen on the coat. Repeat daily as needed.
I gave this product five stars as we have used it for years after trying lots of other fly sprays.
Had a shipment issue. I ordered 3 bottles. They were just delivered and from the citron smell of the box I knew one or more of the bottles had leaked during shipping. Turned out to be one bottle, and it was almost empty!(the others were fine).
Called Chewy and they are sending out a replacement.
Thank you Chewy!!!
Good Product-works great on horse flies and gnats

The one note I will say to chewy, you need to tape the lid on the fly spray, nearly half the bottle was empty due to the top spinning during shipping. The box was soaked, and I am sure the delivery driver loved the citronella scent in his truck. The product itself is great for all varieties of flies and gnats. I am in South Georgia where horse flies and gnats are in abundance now, and this product delivers!

This is the only fly spray that’s worth anything! It really keeps flies from landing on my horse's legs. If flies are on when I spray it, they literally fall off right away. Doesn’t last longer than a few hours but it’s the best I’ve ever tried.
Worked great on my dog

The bottle didn’t work to spray so I have to put it on my hands to rub in but when I used it on my Great Dane, immediately the flies were gone!!! I wish the spray nozzle worked so I wouldn’t lose some pouring it into my hands. I’m just happy he can go outside in peace!
Effectively controls flys

My horse has a fly allergy and gets big bumps from the fly bites. Pyranha has been more effective than other sprays to help control the flies. As with other sprays, you do need to apply a couple times throughout the day.

I’ve tried several different products on my horses, this is the only one that truly works. I spray them twice a day and I use my hands to wipe it on their faces. The flies literally fall off and die when you spray them. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it.
It works pretty well

This year has been the WORST for flies. Friends who recommended this product said it needed to be reapplied every 5-7 days, but I've found that I need to reapply every day to give my animals adequate relief from the flies. Still, it works better than other products I've tried and I'm just glad I can give the animals a break.
Works good on horses (4 on the property)

Have noticed the flies not bothering the horses as much. There are days that we have to spray the horses a few times. We all know that the flies can be a real pain when there isn't a breeze and it's hot out. Helps with keeping the bots off them too.
Works ok controlling some biting pests.

This year has been the wettest, buggiest spring and summer ever. Flies and mosquitoes are out of control! Doing everything humanly possible to control them still doesn’t seem to help. Usually one or two applications of the fly spray a day is enough, but this year I need to apply it to the donkey three or four times a day. I tried a different brand, but Pyranha is still the most affective AND my vet uses it too, so that’s reassuring that it’s a great product.

I just switched to this Pyranha spray and it is the best! I don’t normally write reviews but I was so impressed by the immediate relief both of my girls experienced. If you are a horse person you have to give it a try. **it does seem to have more of an oil base so if you are using it before riding, put the saddle on first.
