What is the difference between Timothy Hay second cut and Timothy Hay Orchard Grass

Answer by ChewyApr 06, 2018
The Second cut hay is grown and harvested in the summer, with smaller seed heads, larger leaves and thinner stems.

Can I feed this to my 8 week old bunny?

Answer by ChewyJun 20, 2018
Once a baby rabbit, or kit, reaches 7 weeks old, they'll be able to handle unlimited access to pellets and alfalfa hay in addition to mother's milk. Kits are usually weaned from their mother's milk by 8 weeks of age, depending on the breed.

This does not specify if it is course orchard grass or soft orchard grass. Can you clarify please?

Answer by ChewyAug 26, 2022
This orchard grass is second cut hay, which is high in fiber and low in protein and calcium. Second cut hay has a finer texture and usually, a greener color and heavier leaves.

Can you give me the dimensions of the box it will come in(20-lb)? Would love to order more at a time, but need to make sure I have room for it. Thanks

Answer by ChewyJan 01, 2019
The 20 pound box measures approximately 24 x 16 x 25 inches.

Just pure magic! Rabbit Hole Orchard grass hay for our precious lil guinea pig xo, is by far the best hay in all the world! It is packaged beautifully, smells extremely fresh & wonderful, & is gorgeous long green strands of magnificent hay! No dry sharp uneatable, disappointing hay here! We are simply beyond grateful! And an added Super Plus which we are immensely grateful for as well! Chewy sent Fedex to deliver our 10lbs. of hay, rather then Ontrac, which takes forever, & are sincerely impossible to deal with, thank you a million for everything Chewy! & Take the very best care! :)

Amazing quality

This grass is great; amazing quality and thin enough to be safe for baby bunnies. Will only buy this brand from now on. Definitely worth the extra money
