I ordered two of these for my pup's Christmas presents and both bones were super thin and brittle. Within a half hour the larger bone had a crack lengthwise, and the other was crumbling on the end the dog was chewing, chipping off shards of bone that luckily that dog is smart enough not to swallow. This is incredibly dangerous, and not what I expect from a dog chew. I also ordered two filled bones at the same time, and haven't had any of these problems with those. They are shorter in length, but the bone is thicker and doesn't splinter. They've been chewing on those for days already.
They licked the bully coating off and left the bone….very disappointing
This is a waste of $$ if you have a chewer. He broke off pieces within 2 minutes. Potentially DANGEROUS
My dog Callie seen the bones and she started whining with excitement for her Bully Bone. Gave her one and it keeps her busy for hours!
I bought this because my pup usually loves bully sticks & also the red barn white bones & this seemed to be a combination of both, so I thought I would give it a try. He loved it, but cleaned it off way too fast, lol!
I should have expected just being bully coated that he might be able to lick the coating off. He loved it but it now looks like a normal bone since he’s licked all the flavor off. Just not too interested anymore.
Our dog has had red barn bones for over 2 years. Never had a problem till now. The bone has very sharp layers on the outside that could cut her. Will not buy these again online as I will need to inspect them before purchase.
This infused bone is a real treat for my large and medium pups. Not greasy or messy and less calories, with great taste. Both pups will clean the bone, inside and outside. While the medium pup will then ignore the bone, the large pup will work on the bone and carry it around and play with it, until he is sure the bone has nothing more to interest him, which is about 5-7 days.
My Labs love the stuffed version of this bone so I thought they might like these with the flavor coating. My dogs loved them at first, but after they licked the coating off they were not longer interested in them. I will order the stuffed bones in the future.
The bone pictured was not what was received. It was bell shaped with the bottom -wide edge thin and sharp. Had to throw it away, before he cut himself.
