The recommended dosage for oral administration to dogs is 2 mg/lb of body weight daily or divided and administered as 1 mg/lb twice daily. For the control of postoperative pain, administer approximately 2 hours before the procedure. Rimadyl chewable tablets are scored and dosage should be calculated in half-tablet increments. Tablets can be halved by placing the tablet on a hard surface and pressing down on both sides of the score. Rimadyl chewable tablets are palatable and willingly consumed by most dogs when offered by the pet parent.

Considerably more affordable than through our vet. Prompt delivery. Our dog never balks at taking them as prescribed for painful aging joints.
My dog is INCREDIBLY fussy, won't eat cheese, bacon and forget about pill pockets. Hard to believe she was once a stray. Getting meds into her in the past has been a nightmare for us both. She will actually eat these either crushed up in her food or halves at a time and alternating with regular treats. She is about 13 years young and I have not seen anymore limping since I started giving her these. They are easy to break in half and I bought a pill crusher for when I sprinkle them over her food. I'm so happy that these are helping my girl!! Very highly recommended!
I used to purchase this from my vet but Chewy has this for almost 50% less than what the vet was charging me. Exact same medication. If you can get your vet to give you a script I would huighly suggest going through Chewy to buy this.
I originally got this med from my vet after my 13 year old English Setter was having difficulty with stumbling on his back legs and sometimes having difficulty getting up. They worked so well for him that I decided to continue with this med and ordered them from Chewy using auto-ship, since Chewy's prices are less than the vet. My dog is prancing around a lot better now. Thanks Chewy for your great service.
I love chewy. This was my first time using the prescription part which was simple to use. The meds came in about 3days.
This is from my golden retriever, Hank. He LOVES Chewy because they made it super simple to get all his prescriptions from his vet and charge his owner such a low price that she can afford to keep him pain free for the rest of his life.
We had generic before and the Rimadyl is worth the extra cost imo. My dog only needs 50mg/day. These are much much easier to cut (no crumbling!) and my dog eats them like a treat.
I have an older rotty that tends to get a little stiff at times. One pill in the morning and that afternoon when I arrive home from work he is dancing around like a puppy. The affects of this last for a few to several days.
Just found out my little one is now going to need for an extended time. Chewy is my go to. Shipping is incredible, prices are way better than the vet.
I only adopt old dogs. They are most likely to experience pain and have Rimadyl prescribed to help them. Rimadyl is expensive! CHEWY has the absolute BEST price for Rimadyl. I have purchased directly from the vet (most expensive) and from my pharmacy. Recently my pharmacy closed. Luckily CHEWY supplies Rimadyl and at a lower cost than I have ever had to pay; plus delivery to my home is so much more convenient than driving and standing in line! THANK YOU CHEWY!!
