Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

How do you kill and remove the fleas from the comb ?

Comb your cat slowly, periodically checking the teeth of the comb for fleas or debris. Between strokes, dip the cat flea comb into a cup of water with mild detergent to kill the fleas left on the comb.

Can I use this to remove nits/lice from my 3 month old kitten? He was a feral and he's been treated but I'm waiting for the Revolution to work. It's been 3 weeks I still see little white dots on the fur mostly toward the back of his body.

The closely spaced teeth on this comb are primarily designed to remove fleas and ticks. Customers have reported the comb also being useful for removal of flea dirt, eggs & larvae.

Great for short haired cats

This comb works really well for my short hair cats but not as well for my medium hair (except around the face). The quality has been great so far.

Works real well

Great item works well one problem it's really thin so don't use it where it can get lost I dropped my first one down the crack in my deck so be careful

This works quite well. Watch YouTube videos on how to use a flea comb properly. Make sure you have a bowl or tray filled with water, dish soap, and alcohol (kills them faster) so you can toss the comb into it once you get a flea or two. They will jump off if you aren't quick enough. Give them several moments to drown before starting again. Wipe the comb dry between uses to keep the chemicals out of your cat's fur. It's also harder to get the fleas when the fur is wet.

Does the job!

I’ve got a fluffy cat that stays inside, but due to us living right next to a barn, she gets her fair share of fleas. Flea medicine helps, but doesn’t completely

I’ve got a fluffy cat that stays inside, but due to us living right next to a barn, she gets her fair share of fleas. Flea medicine helps, but doesn’t completely eliminate the issue. This little flea comb picked up all that the medicine didn’t yet kill. Good product :)

Pistol is a big boy and the long handle made it easier to get in the hard to reach area beneath his chin without him taking a bite out of me. The teeth moved easily

Flea comb def not sturdy enough for the price. I want to return it.

The handle is to light & I can’t kill the fleas off the comb onto a paper towel. Not sturdy enough. Disappointed in this comb.
