Irresistible to my taste discerning, diva bunny

Through the years, I’ve tried numerous brands and formulas of pellets on my 7 yr old spayed English Angora. She turned her nose up to all of them until I landed

Through the years, I’ve tried numerous brands and formulas of pellets on my 7 yr old spayed English Angora. She turned her nose up to all of them until I landed on this Science Selective House formula. Wow, she goes bonkers over this food. It’s like a treat to her. She practically runs me over as I’m dishing it out because she can’t wait to eat it. She gets a whiff of it and her head starts bouncing, so it must smell really good to rabbits. I like the pellets’ cat food kibble shape and texture; seems easier for her to chew. I also like that they are timothy hay based, which is much healthier my exotic veterinarian says for adult and senior bunnies than alfalfa-based pellets. The food is quite rich, so as with any food, I suggest starting slow, then working your way up to the normal amount. With my JoJo, I started her out at just 1 teaspoon per day for several days to allow her digestive tract to adjust to them. I monitored for mushy poop issues. When all went well, I increased to 2 teaspoons per day and so on.

Tied for favorite!

Science Selective is the overwhelming favorite for my three bunnies! They've loved the House version for several years now, but I decided to add the Adult version

They love both, so why not? I'm actually not sure WHY there's a House version but they look different and must taste different. My bunnies are happy!

I have a Mini Rex rabbit who is now two and I’ve had since he was 8 months. He’s not neutered and used to show some aggression, which I later realized might’ve been linked to his previous sugar-heavy diet. After doing my own research, I found this rabbit food and made the switch and what a difference! This blend includes thyme, which I think he absolutely loves. Since switching, he’s become noticeably healthier, happier, and way more excited at mealtime. His coat is shiny, his attitude is calm, and no more aggression! he’s eating more veggies and hay without being picky. I feed him less pellets now, about 1/8 to 1/4 cup daily for his 4lb weight and it’s perfect because his diet is supposed to be primarily Timothy hay. Another huge plus, no more urine sludge or strong odor, which is such a relief.

Only type of pellets my bunnies will eat

I've tried a few different pellets the last 4 years I've had my 2 female bunnies & these are the only kind they go crazy for it just sucks they don't come in bigger

I've tried a few different pellets the last 4 years I've had my 2 female bunnies & these are the only kind they go crazy for it just sucks they don't come in bigger bags for the price so I started mixing these with the oxbow forage pellets to last longer & they love the 2 kinds mixed... They only get about a tablespoon each morning for breakfast

I have two very spoiled, very loved, 24/7 free-roam house buns. One of them (Scully) randomly got bladder sludge needing three trips to the vet, which ended up with a bladder expression, pain meds, weeks of antibiotics, and a depressed bun from the aforementioned, but also because I realized the food I've relied on for 10+ yrs changed quality - forcing me to scramble for even healthier options. This seems to be the best "healthier" food both buns can agree on, which makes me happy. I'll be trying the version with more herbs soon too, for some variety.
