Can this be added to my dogs food?

It is not recommended to add the Water Additive to your pet’s food due to the Coactiv+ technology. The Coactiv+ will attach to the minerals in the food/treats rather than benefiting directly from the teeth.

Can you use this with a water fountain that has a filter?

This water additive can be used in a water fountain, although the product may lose effectiveness and take longer to see results depending on the filter system. Use caution when adding this Water Additive to a carbon-based water filter system. The carbon filter may trap some of the mineral ingredients and could lead to the filter clogging.

dogs won't drink the water

I'm sure this works well with most dogs and would certainly be easier than brushing teeth! However, it turns out I have two "water snobs" who will not drink water

I'm sure this works well with most dogs and would certainly be easier than brushing teeth! However, it turns out I have two "water snobs" who will not drink water with this additive. I've tried adding small amounts to get them used to it, but they refuse to be lured in. I'll keep trying . . .

My dogs, all have white teeth!

I wish I would have taken before and after pictures, but I am posting the current pictures. Big girl and Cookie had dentals done this year. Bertie and Tricksy did

I wish I would have taken before and after pictures, but I am posting the current pictures. Big girl and Cookie had dentals done this year. Bertie and Tricksy did not. But if you look at all four, they all have white teeth. Bertie and Tricksy had a good amount of tartar before we started using this product and we have been using it now for about 3 months. I would highly recommend this product.

No odor

What I noticed was there is no odor and the boys didn’t seem to notice it. My boys don’t have bad breath but it was more about them not getting a build up of plaque

Works Great

I add a little to my pup's water bowl every morning and it seems to keep the plaque at bay in between regular brushing. My pup is three and still has pearly white

Our sheltie has pretty bad plaque. We tried dental chews that just didn’t work. Shout’s honor is working great! It does take a while to see progress though, the first photos were take in June and the after photos taken September 4. They were hesitant for a bit when I added it at first but I played with him and got him thirsty so he would drink and he had no problem after that. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and they all drink it without issue.

Works to Remove Tartar!

My rescue pup had tartar build up from before I got him. He didn’t let me brush his teeth thoroughly, and the other food additives and chews I tried didn’t seem

My rescue pup had tartar build up from before I got him. He didn’t let me brush his teeth thoroughly, and the other food additives and chews I tried didn’t seem to do anything. My vet mentioned it was getting worse and I really needed to do a better job brushing. I tried this additive, started to see some difference very quickly, and now four months later, his plaque is almost completely gone. My dog drinks his water just the same as before, so if he notices the taste, it does not bother him.

Works Well after 1 week

I had been hesitant with water additives but my vet explained to find a vohc approved one and I settled on this. I was so surprised when I went to check my dogs

I had been hesitant with water additives but my vet explained to find a vohc approved one and I settled on this. I was so surprised when I went to check my dogs teeth and noticed a pretty decent difference after only a week. One side had a hunk of plaque that came right off when I barely touched it with my nail. The week before it wouldn't come off at all. So I'd say this is working great.
