The best product
I was using only Aspin Chips since bunnies like to eat when in litter box. but I saw this product and wanted to try it for him. He loves it so much he wants to sleep on it in litter box. So a hit! I mix it with the Aspen Chips and he has the best litter box for himself that this bunny mommy can get together.
Comparable to Kaytee, a little dusty
Box arrived with some bird seed and a couple pieces of dog kibble in the bottom, which I thought was odd, but otherwise have had no issues with the actual product. I change my guinea pigs' cage about once a week and have a pretty large cage so this works for what I need it to. have minimal issues with smell. A smidge dusty in my opinion, but many paper and wood beddings have the same issue.
Chinchilla and Guinea Pig Approved
I purchased this bedding for my guinea pigs and chinchilla's litter box. They seem to like it. I put aspen shavings in and then put this on top of it. I don't know how it functions by itself without the aspen shavings but I know mixed in with it does very well. It's very soft also. You kind of have to break the paper apart when first taking it out of the bag but the quality is good. Doesn't really have a scent.
Love this bedding
Dust-free and great for sensitive noses - both human and rabbit. Does not make a mess everywhere whenever my rabbit jumps out of her litterbox unlike other bedding I have tried.
Premium paper bedding
I love this bedding, it's soft and goes a long way. Alittle expensive but worth it.
Low Dust HIGH FUNK
so I have tried various beddings for my pigs but all were too dusty OR didnt not absorb odor at all. This one... dear lord...this one does not absorb odor at all. And this is coming from someone who spot cleans the cage everyday. It's truly low dust which I'm grateful for but I think even the pigs are getting choked up on the smell. Not a goodie. I will use the rest of this bedding on my hedgehog but I will not be repurchasing unfortunately...the search continues!
Nice bedding but .....
I love this type of bedding have 2 guinea pig and this bedding cuts down on the smell ! However the last two times I’ve ordered from chewy my order has taken forever to get!! It took so long with this past order I had to replenish from the walk-in pet store in my area twice before my chewy box came !!!!!
I will not buy again
I usually buy the white version of this product but it was out of stock so I bought this one. It is not good in comparison to version. I will not be buying again or recommending to anyone.
Not as great as I'd hoped
I do like that it's all natural and cheaper than most paper beddings, but it really isn't as absorbent as the description said. I have to change the bedding more frequently than with my previous brand because it gets soaked through. And the odor control isn't very good either. I'll use up what's left in the package, but I don't think I'll buy it again.
Soft and comfy
The bedding is very soft but does tend to get soggy if too wet. For the price,though, the bag is small and if you have several pets it can get expensive. Odor control is good with this bedding.
