Details

  • The Scratching Tower lets your purring pal stretch and exercise their back and shoulder muscles with vertical scratching.
  • This scratching post is built tough with a looped carpet for sharp claws, plus bright feathers and a hide-and-seek hidden ball base, keeping your furbaby engaged.

Poor construction

This scratching post was poorly designed. Very difficult to attach the post to base and then was wobbly. Chewy needs to find a sturdy, tall, carpet-covered post

Impossible to assemble

Why they decided to include a screw that is too short to reach through the base and past the plastic on the post to where the grooves actually are is beyond me

Sasha Kitty wasn't quickly adapted to this post. She was used to a rug covered post, and as long as that was available, she didn't use the rope covered post. When I finally threw the rug post out, she began to use the rope pole. It is Much Louder, (The pole is hollow and it's PVC)so maybe that was a factor. It appears to be taking the abuse, fairly well. It's not looking ratty, though it is being used several times a day. And it's tall enough to be a good stretching post for a fully grown cat!

Can’t put it together

The screw it comes with is too short so I can’t attach the post to the base.

The screw provided to attach the post to the base was not long enough to thread them together. I had to go to the hardware store to buy a longer screw, but then it prevents the ball from really spinning around because it's a little too long. My cat will not play with it or use the scratcher.
