The St. Albans Bay Suet Plus High Energy Food has black oil sunflower seeds while the St. Albans Bay Suet Plus Meal Worms Food includes peanut pieces and dehydrated mealworms. They both attract a variety of your tree-clinging and perching birds like chickadees, cardinals, siskins, nuthatches, titmice, sparrows, woodpeckers, blue jays and juncos.

overpriced

I usually buy these at the local feed store but when they run out I add one to an autoship order. I can't believe how much more expensive this is through chewy (10.99

I usually buy these at the local feed store but when they run out I add one to an autoship order. I can't believe how much more expensive this is through chewy (10.99 at feed store vs 18.99 at chewy). I won't be doing it again. The birds love it though - good seed to suet ratio.

Love St. Albans, but not the bulk packaging

My backyard birds and squirrels love St. Albans, this one included! But I found that the cakes in the "value pack" are messier than the smaller boxes. These cakes are stickier and leave much more residue on the packaging and on my hands, and the eco-friendly plastic gets too gross to recycle. I'm going back to the smaller boxes of St. Albans suet, with easier-to-manage plastic sleeves -- much tidier for my hands and in general, and they stay clean enough to recycle with my other soft plastics.

Great suet for the wild birds

All the wild birds love this, it's easy to add to suet feeders, no mess and in this cold weather the birds go crazy for it

This was the first time buying this suet. I usually buy another brand which the birds love but it is very expensive. I thought I would give this brand a try. So

This was the first time buying this suet. I usually buy another brand which the birds love but it is very expensive. I thought I would give this brand a try. So far the birds are not loving it. The squirrels aren't crazy about it either. I'm going to give it a few more weeks to see if their taste changes.
