Durable & Keeps Pups Busy
By Happydogowner on Mar 26, 2021
I purchased two of these for my vizsla & my Karelian bear dog. Both of them love it! I put some kibble inside along with a couple of high value treats to keep them motivated. This keeps them busy for hours while working from home. Occasionally one will roll somewhere they can't reach and they'll either come to get me or argue over the one that's still accessible. I am very impressed with how durable the ball is! Both dogs are chewers and haven't damaged the ball at all in these first weeks. It's been fun to watch their individual thought processes too while they try to figure out the best way to get out different shaped treats.

Love this ball!
By hweyst on Apr 7, 2021
I am so happy to see chewy had these balls, this will be our 3rd. One for each dog. These are soft and durable. My Rat Terrier loves things she can bite down and squeeze in her mouth and these hold up nicely. The first one I bought over 5 years ago and it's still together with some wear to it. I put mini milk bone treats snapped in half and a few high end jerky treats in them. FYI, I cut two of the nobs inside off on one side and only one on the other.

Excellent for our GSD
By Charliesmom on Mar 1, 2021
Charlie is a female GSD; she just turned 2yrs old. She is very bright but tough on toys....except this one. She loves her "squishy ball." We have had a squishy for 18 months. Play time with squishy has become a morning ritual. I have used all manner of relatively firm/hard treats. Squishy keeps her busy and engaged more than any other toy. We have not had to put this toy away when we are not home as she is only engaged while there are treats in the ball. I vary the sizes of the treats to keep her engaged, from easy to get out to pretty darn difficult. DO NOT remove the little silicon nibs on the openings. Love at First Bite
By Greg on Feb 22, 2021
Always on the lookout for a virtually indestructible chew toy for my recently adopted shelter dog, Cooper, I took a chance on this product. We love love love this ball! It provides daily sessions for playing fetch, and treats can be placed in the center to keep him busy while I teach remotely in another room. The diameter of the ball probably means your dog needs to have a fairly big mouth to grasp it. Cooper likes gnawing on it, too, but he never damages it. Another plus is how I can see his problem-solving skills develop right before my eyes (how to retrieve it under furniture, how to carry it). This ball is a keeper. I will probably order a second one and leave the holes intact for a variety of challenges. This ball really has been love at first bite! … more

Perfect for my GSD/mix
By JKiddo on Feb 23, 2021
So far so good! My dog is 60 lbs. and I got her the Medium/Large size. This ball is durable but also soft and lightweight, which is perfect because although she’s a shredder, she sometimes struggles with more heavy-duty chews like kongs. I’m going to have to figure out which treats I can find that don’t dispense too easily. Another reviewer suggested Nutro mini bites, but they seem to be too small for the Medium/Large size ball. But my dog still enjoys the ball, with or without treats in it, so this is a win!

Too big for my 68 pound boy but GREAT
By Happycamper on Mar 24, 2021 top250Contributor
Just too big! I wish Chewy would say something more about the size. My 68# aggressive chewer standard poodle can’t get his jaws around it and compress. I’ll order the medium size! This is a fun toy that will keep him entertained and interested since it involves food. Good texture, interesting, soft enough and tough enough for a “shredder”.

4th replacement in 13yrs
By BoarderTerrierMom on Feb 22, 2021
I was thrilled to see chewy had these balls, this will be our 4th time replacing them. About every 5 years or so. they are sturdy, soft and durable against our Indiana (5yrs)who has a seriously bad habit of "dismantling" every toy he puts his mouth on. Abby (13yrs) got her first ball when she was about 10mths old. They get the ball as an after dinner treat, I cut meat treats in strips and stuff in. Perfect fit, cut two of the nobs inside off on one side and only one on the other. It really helps fill the need to hunt peck and chew. Also keeps them busy long enough to get the dinner dishes washed.

Great with the right treats!
By Eric on Feb 15, 2021
I see other reviews here where people are complaining about the treats just falling out TOO easily. I think I found a great solution. There are these treats shaped like tiny bones which are the perfect shape. They are called Nutro mini bites. There are four different flavors. I find that I can get 4-5 play sessions out of one bag. You can find the treats on here. They fall out but not too easily because of their shape and only dispense one at a time as my Catahoula pushes the ball. You can also hear when the treats run out in the ball. I really like this interactive toy. Keeps him busy for a good 20 minutes.

Starmark has not disappointed me yet
By Tree on Feb 18, 2021
This toy is made of a soft rubber but durable and has a great vanilla smell. I used the Starmark cylinder shaped treats made to fit this ball. It was difficult for my puppy to get a treat out of the holes as is. The manufacturer recommends clipping a rubber nub at the holes to make it easier to dispense the treat. I started with clipping one nub and when that wasn't enough, clipped a 2nd, which works great. Just enough to dispense the treat but my puppy does have to work at it to get it. He literally will play with this until all the treats are out.

Gross chemical substance
By eldee on Mar 4, 2021
Bought it, didn't even give it to my dogs. Was visibly wet with some weird viscous chemical that also rubbed off onto other items in the order and my hands. Great job on Chewy for handling the refund but really, they shouldn't be selling this. Starmark claims it is "tougher than rubber" and without phthalates, but whatever IS in it is a mystery, and one I'm not willing to risk.
