About Stella and Chewy’s
In 1997, Marie Moody adopted a dog named Stella from a local animal shelter. She soon decided that Stella needed a companion and adopted a sick pup named Chewy, who joined the family and helped forge the company’s history. On the advice of a veterinarian, Marie began feeding Chewy a raw diet to help with this health issues. He quickly recovered, and both he and Stella thrived on the new food, leading Marie to pursue her passion for pet nutrition and start her own business—Stella & Chewy’s.

Perfect for chicken allergy
My cats all love this food. Chicken fat is ok with a chicken allergy. My kitten is allergic to chicken so we tried this and he loves it. All my other cats love it too. Only con is it is expensive.
Cats Love It
One of my cats has a sensitivity to chicken and for many years, I have tried various chicken-free kibbles including veterinary prescription diets. After awhile, he will lose interest in the food. I’ve been feeding this Stella & Chewy’s Raw Coated Kibble Duck Recipe for a few months and both of my cats LOVE it. I also really like how the kibbles are a smaller size that seem easier for my cats to crunch on.
They all love it!
One of my kitties can’t not eat chicken, so this was an excellent option. Now my other kitties refuse to eat chicken after eating this kibble. We’ve stayed with this bran bc they love it so much.
My cat likes it
My cat likes this food. I saw a comment about peas and lentils. 1) Not all studies show that they inhibit taurine absorption. 2) Just the presence of legumes does not necessarily mean that a pet will develop taurine deficiency if enough taurine is added in the food. So, it's not a solid reason to condemn the food.

2 of my 3 cats will eat just about anything, but 1 is VERY picky. This is a hit with him. I haven't tried any other flavors, but he LOVES the Duck.
Nom Noms for life
Finally my human pet is feeding me something that suitable for my royal standing. No more of that peasant food.
Food okay blah blah
Food just okay. Not much actual duck in it. Some cats like it and some dont.
Good food for cats with chicken allergies
I bought this since I have a cat that is allergic to chicken & she loves duck. I have tried another brand of duck kibble which they loved, but made them have diarrhea all while eating. This food however has not cause any digestive issues & they also really like it so I ended up buying another bag bag. Excellent food.
Not good for cats
Lentils and peas inhibit uptake of taurine which is essential for cats; without taurine they will go blind, their teeth will fall out and their hearts will stop. Why feed starch to a carnivore?

All my 12 cats plus ferals LOVE this food. I keep refilling their bowls. I need to stock up on this food. They devour this food more than anything I’ve ever given them. Thank you!!
