Allow your pooch to heal in comfort and dignity with the Suitical Recovery Sleeve for Dogs. A dog-preferred alternative to the dreaded cone of shame, this new approach comes with a host of perks. While traditional cones restrict normal movement and distract their sense of direction, the recovery sleeve solves all these problems and then some. Acting as a second skin, it allows your dog to go about his normal routine—all the while keeping the wound clean, dry and protected. All this equals less stress, a faster recovery and a happier pet. Just ask yourself, would you want to wear a cone?
Comfortable, stress-reducing alternative to the traditional cone is recommended by vets.
Covered areas are kept clean and dry, which prevents bacteria and dirt from causing an infection.
Around-the-chest closure adds some pressure to the chest, which helps to reduce stress levels.
Made from a non-toxic, breathable, 4-way stretch fabric that is machine washable for reuse.
Suitable to cover salves, protect hot spots, wounds, bandages, skin conditions and more.
Insert the injured leg through the sleeve; insert the other leg through the opening on the opposite side; secure around the chest by using the snaps/press buttons.
Do not place items in the dryer, must be air dryed.
For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If you do not have a measuring tape, feel free to use the Printable Measuring Tape provided on this page.
Chest Girth: Most important measurement; measure your dog's chest around the widest part. Add 2 inches for comfort.
If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
Exactly what we needed to help our dog's torn (elbow) callous to heal. Light cotton fabric allows air to the wound while protecting the area. Size is described accurately. Our dog is comfortable in the sleeve, it does not restrain movement, and it stays in place. Also, gauze pads stay in place to catch seepage although there is not a separate pocket for them. The ribbing at the end of the sleeve was too tight so I just cut it off, and there hasn't been any unraveling or tearing. It machine washes and goes through the dryer cycle beautifully. There is no doubt that the sleeve helped to avoid costly surgery for our precious pet. I highly recommend this product.

We have a cat that has an immobile, numb left front leg from being hit by a car when she was a kitten. Her paw is hooked and while she is indoors, there’s no problem. However when we take her outside (we have a farm, she doesn’t go out unsupervised) it drags on the brick steps and concrete paths around our home. We’ve tried bandages and boots ... nothing worked. Everything came off and she’d wear a raw spot on her paw. Even though we didn’t want to, amputation was becoming a possibility because the raw spot was becoming worse. We bought this sleeve and combined it with an XXXS boot. It’s been LIFE CHANGING! The sleeve has an open hole for her good leg, it snaps AND Velcros around her chest. Suitical Recovery Sleeve

Our dog (22 lb) has had an infected dew claw, initially we had him wearing the vet reccommended "Cone"' which was difficult to keep it on him...he healed, and we then learned about the suitical sleeve option..We ordered it from Chewy for "next time" so we could be prepared, and not use the cone if possible. We measured him, ordered a small, it is too big.. we may send it back for an xs size...for now as of this am, put it on him, as he is licking at his paws area again. He was quiet as it was put it on him, not the usual struggle, think he feels comforted by it. It is well made.
Great Recovery Sleeve

This sleeve is great! My poor golden has a growth on her arm that she keeps licking and getting it infected and larger in size. Since it is not cancerous or anything serious, we are trying to see with antibiotics and spray if the growth shrinks or goes away. Since Bella learned how to take her cone off at night, this recovery sleeve is perfect!! She leaves it alone and goes about her day. Plus, she can see and eat much better than having the cone around her neck. The product is soft and comfortable and she does not seem to mind it at all. I would highly recommend this for any animal.
Not strong enough

We thought this was going to be a great substitute for putting our dog in a cone of shame. For the first 24 hours, it seemed OK. But today (day 2), she managed to chew a giant hole in it and access her bandages. She's back in a cone, and the sleeve is back in the trash. It would be great if this could somehow be made with a chew-resistant material.
A wonderful product

My dog had a tumor on his leg that was Removed. The sleeve was a god send . It covered up his whole leg and he couldn’t get it off and my other dogs could not get it off either. The sleeve was washable ,that I loved. The tumor came back and this time they have to take his leg.I hope I can find something like this one to cover up the incision from this Surgery.
Thank you for making The sleeve it made my life and Aussies a little better during this time.

I had high hopes that this would help with my dog's wrist hotspot. It fit well but she was able to chew through it in under 24 hours. Her jaw is not especially strong and she is only 35 lb. So she's not a huge destroyer of things.

My dog had 2 very serious orthopedic surgeries on his leg recently after a traumatic injury he suffered while training. Needless to say, he's been trapped in a hard cone for awhile. But this sleeve allows him a little more comfort and freedom. I wouldn't trust it when he's not supervised but that's ok. He doesn't mind wearing it and now actually is very happy to put it on because he knows the cone will be off.

We needed something for our doggy because he had an infection on his leg and this worked great. It is soft and comfortable and it fit him just right and that is saying something because he is not a perfect size. This really helped with his leg and he didn't bother with it so that his leg could heal. It was also very easy to take off and put on. We have a shiba shelty and he is around 28 pounds and we bought a medium and it fit him just right.

I liked this dog sleeve very much. Good quality, etc. The only problem was that my sweet doggie finally did chew through it to get to her elbow. Bye bye sleeve. I would buy it again, if I knew she wouldn't do this.
