Picky Senior Cat Would Not Touch It

Made the mistake of not buying a single can first. Opened one and my miracle girl Cabbis would not touch it. She was formerly on CKD food and has since been cleared

Made the mistake of not buying a single can first. Opened one and my miracle girl Cabbis would not touch it. She was formerly on CKD food and has since been cleared with blood and urine tests, so we are back in the wild world of finding a senior-friendly wet food she will actually eat. This was a hard no. If you have a picky senior cat, definitely test a single can before committing to a case.

Great for senior cats!

A friend of mine turned me on to the Tiki Cat brand for my senior cat. I love that it has a higher protein value as real bits of shredded chicken and vegetables

A friend of mine turned me on to the Tiki Cat brand for my senior cat. I love that it has a higher protein value as real bits of shredded chicken and vegetables and has a good moisture content as senior cats need all the help they can get staying g hydrated. I also pair this with the tiki cat silver pouches for his diet. He had been struggling to maintain weight and was refusing to eat but the tiki cat seems to have really peaked his appetite and now he's maintaining a healthy weight for his age

Unfortunately, this did not sit well with my kitties, and they threw up the food. I had heard good things about the quality of this wet cat food. My cats are old so I'm looking to give them the best nutrition in their silver years. Also, the juice to food ratio in my opinion is not balanced. I will continue my search.

My Vet said my cats needed senior food and suggested Hills Science Diet Senior, but it has guar gum in it and they will not eat anything with that in it as it really

My Vet said my cats needed senior food and suggested Hills Science Diet Senior, but it has guar gum in it and they will not eat anything with that in it as it really tears up their digestive systems. It's near impossible to find wet food they can stomach. Though they may sometimes not eat this flavor or eat only a little, still they do mostly enjoy it and it doesn't make them sick.
