For adult dogs, feed approximately 2 3.5 oz. cans or pouches per day per 4 lbs. of body weight or 1 1/2 9 oz. cans per day per 10 lbs. of body weight. For puppies, offer food several times a day, feed up to twice this amount. Pregnant or nursing dogs may require two to four times their normal feeding. The amount to feed will vary based upon age, activity level, breed, size, and environment. Please use the feeding guidelines as an initial recommendation and adjust food amount as needed to maintain proper weight. Always provide access to clean, fresh water. Wet food should be changed at least twice daily in order to prevent spoilage.
The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your dog seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
Tiki Dog Senior Mousse is perfect for my oldest boy. I had been trying to mash his foods until I found this wonderful product. It is better and healthier as well as more nutritional than feeding him baby food mashed meats. Our other boys like it as well. I am hoping Tiki Mousse will become available in other flavor choices soon.
My picky dog likes this if I put it in her mouth first. It helps her eat her other dog food.
Is added to her dry food, use to add table scraps, but I'm trying to get her weight down.
My senior girl loves tiki! It has always been a food that she consistently likes and will eat, even when being picky or when we are traveling. Easy to feed to her as well.
I wish it came iin a larger carton and they need to ake the packaging a little sturdier but my dog loves this stuff and its so much better for him than the usual canned wet food. Thanks!
I ordered for my senior dog who has always eaten dry kibble food. He is old, blind, deaf and not many teeth. He will not eat it. I have tried several times because of the convenience but he smells and walks away. I will try again.
this is great for senior dogs, a puree and easy for them to eat
My dog loves it, but the packaging is just not convenient. Too messy. There needs to be a screw top lid so that you can serve the remaining portion the next day.
I have two senior dogs and they love this stuff. I use it as a topper with their kibble.
My little senior rescue has no teeth. I’ve been struggling to provide food she likes but doesn’t hurt while she eats it. I’ve been smushing and watering down pates, but then I found this. It’s like an extra thick gravy. She loves it.
