Our cat was born of a feral mother in a frigid winter storm. The smart feral mom found a way to give birth inside a car trunk, and the family survived. However, our Cleo has chronic upper respiratory problems. We have antibiotic drops to use as needed. However, using this immune support supplement has greatly reduced the need for prescription medication. Great stuff!
My male loved these. Larger than the combo pack. My female turned her nose up at them. She is the one that needs them..
great product for kitties with Zoster eye issues
When we adopted our two-year old Maine Coon from the County Animal Rescue, we noted he was frequently squinting with a clear discharge from that eye. Our vet evaluated him but sent him to a local veterinary ophthalmologist who identified a viral infection. Topical antibiotics were prescribed which cleared the problem, but we were told Zoster is difficult to eradicate completely. She recommended lysine-containing products, and I discovered the Tomlyn flavored soft chews. I give our cat a single chew nitely, cut into smaller pieces, which he loves and thinks are his nightly treat, screaming if he doesn't receive the treat in a timely fashion!
Worth The Money
I used to use the Tomlyn Lysine powder, which works very well & is cheaper than these treats. But for me it's easier to give my senior cat & my kitten the treats. And since they love these, I can reward them with this healthy treat! These also seem to work just as well as the powder. These are fairly large pieces but are very soft, so I just break them in half for my kitten. My adult cat eats them whole without issue.
My cats had no problems eating these. The pieces are a little big i had to break them up for them. But they loved the taste!!
Great But Very Expensive
Hard to say if these work at all and they are very pricey. $12 for 30 count and they are gone in no time. Would like to see a more economical version because with my 8 cats this bag disappears faster than I can open it. Otherwise they seem to go nuts for them. I gave a 3 rating because of price.
My cats LOVE this!
I have three very picky cats. They all have a medical condition which requires them to get regular L-Lysine for immune support. They absolutely love this chew which makes it very easy to get them their needed dose each day.
I wish these would work!
I have nothing bad to say about the product, but my cats won’t eat them. So if you have picky cats you might want to think twice about buying these.
My cats a very picky eaters, but these chews make giving them vitamins so much easier! They actually look forward to eating them too which is amazing!
Hey Mikey - he likes it!
I have a cat with a squinky eye due to a herpetic virus when he was a kitten. I normally use the Tomlyn L-lisine powder but as this has been out of stock for a few weeks I have had to resort to these treats to ensure my guy has the immune support he needs so his eye doesn't get worse. It's much more expensive than the powder, but Spanky loves these! They're large so I break them in half and put it on top of his wet food and he gobbles it up. I prefer the powder because it's a fraction of the cost, but at least I know Spanky is getting what he needs and he's certainly enjoying them.
