How are these cheeks dried and processed?

First, the head skin is cut and sun dried then soaked overnight. The roll is made and then banded together and air dried. Once dried, they are trimmed and the bands are removed. Finally they are cleaned with diluted food grade hydrogen peroxide (Same process as fruit and vegetable washes) before being oven dried.

Are these cheeks made with formaldehyde?

These treats contain approximately 3.411 calories per gram. They are 100% natural buffalo cheek from Brazil and are easily digestible. Rawhide comes from the inner layer of animal hides.

Last quite a while

Our 8 mos. old Sheltie loves these, and it takes her several days (instead of hours!!) to finish one. We never let her chew unsupervised, and take it or scraps

Our 8 mos. old Sheltie loves these, and it takes her several days (instead of hours!!) to finish one. We never let her chew unsupervised, and take it or scraps away once they get small enough to swallow.. (That would depend on the size of your dog).

Not too stinky but still compelling

These rolls aren't as scentless as some cheek rolls but they're also not nearly as pungent as other compelling chews. One will last my heavy/super chewer german

These rolls aren't as scentless as some cheek rolls but they're also not nearly as pungent as other compelling chews. One will last my heavy/super chewer german shepherd a few thirty minute to hour long chewing sessions, my much smaller and more delicate chewer collie makes a play for them when they've been chewed down enough she can maneuver them and barely makes a dent in the same timeframe.

Good quality, but inaccurate quantity

One of these lasted my dog an hour and a half which is incredible for him. The only negative is that it’s listed as a 4 pound bag, but it’s actually under 2 pounds

Good size but smell

Bully sticks can be odorless or not. These are not odorless. The sticks were about 3-4 cm in thickness. They are also more pricey than other brands.

Was hoping for a longer lasting time with these. My Shepard/Retriever mix tore thru one of these in like 20 mins. They aren’t bad, just need so,etching to keep

Crunchy

These are super crunchy. I thought they would be more like rawhide. My dog likes these ok but he won’t chew on one for more than about ten minutes before he gets

These are super crunchy. I thought they would be more like rawhide. My dog likes these ok but he won’t chew on one for more than about ten minutes before he gets bored, they don’t keep his interest quite as much as the hair on beef cheeks for some reason

Focused Time

My 8 mo boxer puppy needs diversion from mischieve. The beef rolls provide me an opportunity to trust her while she is focused on chewing. The large rolls last longer

The large rolls last longer and gives me the assuranc that she won't chew it up in one setting. She has multiple rolls awaiting her time and energy. These brand doesn't fall appart like others.
