Prior to the administration of Dermatologic Solution TRESADERM, remove the ceruminous, purulent or foreign materials from the ear canal, as well as the crust which may be associated with dermatoses affecting other parts of the body. The design of the container nozzle safely allows partial insertion into the ear canal for ease of administration. The amount to apply and the frequency of treatment are dependent upon the severity and extent of the lesions. Five to 15 drops should be instilled in the ear twice daily. In treating dermatoses affecting other than the ear the surface of the lesions should be well moistened (2 to 4 drops per square inch) with Dermatologic Solution TRESADERM twice daily. The volume required will be dependent upon the size of the lesion.
Store in a refrigerator 36 - 46 F (2 - 8 C).
What outcomes can be expected?
Tresaderm will kill susceptible organisms that cause infection when used as prescribed. You should notice your pet feeling better and his skin and ears should start to return to normal. Use beyond 7 days could delay wound healing. If your pets skin/ears are not improving after the medication is finished, contact your veterinarian.
Thiabendazole is an antifungal agent, dexamethasone is a corticosteroid and neomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. These ingredients help to kill susceptible bacteria and fungi/yeast plus relieve associated inflammation.

I went to my veterinarian and he ordered these eardrops, but he said we don’t have them. They’re backordered from the manufacturer and he gave me something else. My cat hated those other drops and would not let me put them in so I went online and started looking for the drops he’s supposed to have and I found them at chewy. I called them told the vet wanted me to have them, but they didn’t have any available and they got a prescription for me and I received the eardrops the very next day. I was worried because these drops need to be refrigerated at all times, but they sent them in a special box with ice packs and they were kept cold at all times. I was very happy with the speediness that they were able to get me the prescription and send me the drops. Even though my cat still, hates eardrops, he’ll at least let me put these in. By the way, it was cheaper at chewy than it was at the veterinarian.
Dr said my cat had a little ear infection. Her fist dose was in office. Then she came home and was vomiting everything. I got her a slow feeder and only gave her oz of food at a time. Then I forgot to give ear drops and the vomiting stopped. Called vet she said not ear drop issue. So I have again. Non stop vomiting. So today. I let her eat. No drops. no vomit. Let her food settle and right before bed our towels down have drops. Within seconds all her food came up. Gagging type of vomiting. Confirming it has to be this. No she will be sick for the next 8 hours. Vet said there is no other approved eat infection drops for cats???
My cat developed sores, and despite antibiotics, they were lingering. Seth had to wear an Elizabethan collar for more than a month. A friend recommended Tresaderm, so I wanted to give it a try. It was difficult to find as the stock was back ordered everywhere except Chewy.. Got it in record time! My cat was comfortable with it, especially since you can take the collar off 15 minutes after applying. He then healed fast, and I am very satisfied with both Chewy, and Tresaderm
Have kept this med on hand for years. Initially used for ear infection/irritation but Vet said it is appropriate for minor skin allergy flares which my boy has infrequently. Used this on previous pups and It works like a charm for us. Unfortunately it's currently back-ordered and impossible to obtain currently.......
Received in reasonable time, on ice as it's a refrigerated medicine, at a considerably better price than the vet's office.
I have been waiting a week for my prescription and just now I found out the Tresaderm is out of stock. This is inexcusable. I know that the product is good, but I would never recommend that a friend order a prescription from Chewy.
I just adopted a 5 year old Maine Coon from California, upon taking her to my vet not only did she have a serious eye infection but her ears were very dirty. The vet said use this product twice a day for a week. Amazing with in 2 days I could see a difference and was able to clean them. Today 8 days later they are clean and no more pawing at her ears. The eyes will take a while longer but she is improving daily. PS. I could not find this product at local stores. I called Chewy they verified the Rx and shipped it out asap. Thank you CHEWY!!
My dog has chronic ear infections. I was purchasing through my vet, however, at a much higher price. Thanks Chewy for helping me save some money.
My local vet could not get this item so I ordered it here. This stuff WORKS! LOVE IT!
I LOVE YOU!! THE MEDS ARE SO MUCH CEAPER WITH YOU THAN FROM THE VET. MY WHOLE FAILY USES YOU & I TELL EVERYONE ABOUT YOU!! KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK YOU DO!! THANK YOU
