Saving my cat

I was immediately impressed by the quality of the sisal & jute. My cat Leyleigh was immediately impressed by it too, and started scratching before we’d even put it up on the wall! It doesn’t matter where you put it, she’s all over the post and purring happily. The installation is a bit lackluster, not very secure but it’s easy to run extra support screws through the bottom corners for firm support against the wall. This is also a good method if you want to mount it “upside down” so that the post is facing out on the other side of a corner - just note that you won’t have the easy removal like the original hardware was designed for. Overall really happy, fairly simply to put together and easy to install! Cats love it, my couch sighs with relief, and it doesn’t wander across the room over time.

Not made well for the wall.

This isn’t made to hang on the wall well. This lasted on the wall for maybe two weeks. This has two places for screws. I was also able to just pick this up from

This isn’t made to hang on the wall well. This lasted on the wall for maybe two weeks. This has two places for screws. I was also able to just pick this up from the screws. It’s just not stable. When my cats would claw at this, the bottom wasn’t stable so it would come off of the wall. I now have it on the ground and they still use it. It’s just not used as it was intended to originally.

My cat loves it!

Sturdier than the traditional pole

One of our cats is a tantrum-haver (mostly against the couch). I got this to screw into a sturdy-built 2by4 side table where I like to keep my yarn supplies and he likes to steal my yarn supplies. So far, everyone in the household has loved the fact that there is no way for this to topple over on them. Instead of going around a corner, I screwed it in flat to one side of the table. While it's a little short for the long boi, he makes great use of his upper body strength whilst lying underneath the table.
