My cats gums were red and irritated and the dentist said it would cost $400 to clean them so I thought i would give it a try. Really pleased with the results
My cats were fine drinking it (i put less than the recommended amount) but one of my cats started throwing up every day. My other cat is fine. So, your mileage may vary on this.
I use this in the "community" water bowl and I have more confidence in their oral health because of being diligent to add it every time the bowl is empty.
My order was received perfect as promised. It saves me a trip to the store, and the prices are fair.
Our little guy had the worst bad breath. We were just living with it when the vet suggested something like this. I can’t believe how incredible it is. In two days we were able to tolerate his kisses
Add this to water and it really works.
I bought this because my 17 year old cat has terrible breath. She needs a dental, but because of health problems, the vet doesn't want to put her under anesthesia. I thought this might be a good solution. I realized after putting this in her water for 3 days that she wasn't drinking any water (the other cats were). She followed me into the shower and opened her mouth in the stream, which she has never done That's when I realized she wasn't drinking the water. Had I not put two and two together and addressed the issue immediately, she would have ended up in the ICU or worse. I gave her a fresh bowl of water. She sat in front of it and drank for the better part of an hour. It took several days of constant monitoring and syringe feeding to get her back to good health. I would not recommend this product.
Put out the treatment, cats would not touch it. When I poured it out 36 hours later and replaced the treated water with CLEAN water it was obvious they had not had a drink of water the entire time. So much for 'odorless and tasteless'.
My cats get sick when I use this product. I have tried to use less but it didn't matter, they all still ended up sick in their stomachs. I stopped using it for a week, then started putting it in their water with less of an amount, but it didn't make a difference, they still got sick. It did help their gums, but not good with the stomachs.
My vet was concerned about tartar build up in one of my cats. I started adding this additive to my cats water dish and at the last checkup, the vet was very pleased that the tartar problem was gone.
