Our boy, Titus, had a hotspot in his armpit that he or his sister just wouldn’t leave alone and this product was our first choice to treat it. We started applying it on Saturday night as we got ready for bed. That night the spot was red, raised, and scabbed where he’d scratched it. Continuing to use this product each night, Titus quickly got used to the new routine and seemed to enjoy getting his nightly treatment. By Tuesday, the swelling was gone completely and the redness had faded significantly. By Thursday, his skin was all back to its normal tone again with only the tiniest bump left from his scab. Overall, great results! When our stubborn boy would roll over for his medicine each night and then get excited for his shirt, we knew it was giving him the relief he needed and we could definitely see the results in his hotspot.

I purchased the TropiClean Home Vet Hotspot Medicated Cream for my dog who developed a painful hotspot. Within the first 24 hours I saw a noticeable change — less redness, less licking, and she finally stopped scratching at it. The chlorhexidine helped dry and clean the area, the hydrocortisone reduced the inflammation, and the lidocaine clearly helped with comfort because she settled down almost immediately after application. I love that it’s vet strength, and it truly did work like something I’d expect from a clinic. The texture spreads easily, doesn’t have a harsh smell, and absorbs without leaving a greasy mess on fur or bedding. Bonus: no stinging reaction, which is something my dog has experienced with other medicated creams. If your pet struggles with hotspots, itching, or irritation, this is absolutely worth having on hand. Fast relief, great ingredients, and very effective.

This stuff actually worked really well for my 75-lb pit. He’s been having allergy flare-ups on three of his legs, with a lot of redness and irritation, and this cream helped calm things down a lot. It’s super easy to apply and doesn’t feel overly greasy. After using it, he stopped licking the spots as much, and the redness started to go down pretty quickly. It seemed to soothe the itching almost right away, which made him way more comfortable. I also like that it’s gentle enough to use regularly without irritating his skin more. After a few days, the areas looked noticeably better and started healing instead of getting worse. Definitely something I’ll keep around for allergy and skin issues. It’s been a big help for my dog.

Had two of my dogs have suspicious red spots one by their tail and the other by their paws. I figured I’d try this out as I wasn’t sure it was bacterial or fungal. It worked. Not sure how long the tube will last, it’s on the smaller side. The gel is clear and doesn’t have a strong odor. I applied once a day and it took a few days before I saw improvement. I did have to stop my dogs from licking it as they would not tolerate it being bandaged. I would recommend. If you have a larger spot or multiple pets with issues you may need a larger size.

Works wonders for dermatitis!

I have a dog who has a bad flea allergy, but has epilepsy so he can't be on continual flea meds, just as needed if he starts scratching. Well.. once he starts scratching,

I have a dog who has a bad flea allergy, but has epilepsy so he can't be on continual flea meds, just as needed if he starts scratching. Well.. once he starts scratching, even after flea treatment, he doesn't want to stop. This medicine absolutely STOPS the scratching and licking right away. I was worried about putting it on areas that he licks (base of his tail) but my vet assured me that the medicine is nontoxic, it just will make his mouth numb from the lidocaine. (Please note that the tube says to cover the area after application!) I'm really happy to have this medicine on hand to help make my pup comfortable during his allergy flare-ups!

I applied to Stans inner tight area were he was chewing himself. He was not thrilled when i applied and massaged it in. Amazingly it is working he stopped going

Whats nice is it doesnt have too much of a smell and works noticibly within 24 hours. One thing I like is a little goes along way, and my pup seems respond well to this treatment! Thank you chewy!
