These treats have an outside diameter of approximately 2.75” and a thickness of 0.375”. The treat is similar in size to the lid on a jar of pickles or jam.
The texture and size of these treats were designed specifically for small breed puppies. The treats will likely be too small and too easily chewed by a larger or older dog.
The texture of these treats is hard/firm and slightly chewy to help clean teeth but designed to be easily digestible and safe for your pup. These treats can be broken in half.
The ingredients used in these treats are sourced from reputable suppliers in the USA and worldwide, dependent on availability.
My 18 week old puppy dropped hers after about a minute to go find something else to chew on. We tried reintroducing it at several other points in time but it didn’t pique her interest. There is no smell so I wonder if this is just not flavorful enough to entice her.
This is a great product - my dog loves the chicken flavor and the shape is perfect for a puppy (or small breed adult dog). I also like that I can easily break these into smaller pieces for training treats.
My puppy loves the flavor of these teething treats (more than most) unfortunately however these cause him to have an upset stomach and irregular bowel movement each time he has more than 1/4 of one of the rings in a day. It's incredibly hard to regulate because of its small size--when you break it up, it's too easy to just swallow, and even a small portion of one ring is detrimental.
A bit pricey for only 6 small teething rings, and my puppy dropped hers after a minute to go find something else to chew on. Didn't pique her interest so not worth it for me.
I initially purchased these for our Shih Tzu puppy. She was chewing on the furniture, and I wanted to give her an alternative. Every time I gave her a ring, our 2 year old Shih Tzu would steal it from the her (the puppy), so now both dogs enjoy these treats . Our puppy is now 6 months old and growing out of her furniture-chewing phase, but neither dog has grown out of loving these rings. We now save them for night time as a special treat when getting in their crates for bed. They look forward to this time and it keeps them busy until they fall asleep.
I bought several brands of chews to prevent my Shih tzu puppies from chewing our furniture. I honestly can’t say if they’re good or bad. My dogs won’t touch them over the other chews I’ve bought (bully braids and yummy combs).
My Yorkie puppy loves these! Will chew all day until it's gone. Great teething product!
I'm a dork, but once our 8 week brittany got a single circle off, I thought he was going to choke. He likes the texture.
Our dogs like them ,I mainly got them for our younger pup ,but both dogs like them so I would definitely recommend them.
Unfortunately, I can not use these with my little yorkie quite yet. His stomach is very sensitive. I will probably start giving them to him in few weeks from now when he begins his training. I will use them as rewards for training.
