Durable Chew Toy

Best toy so far

Tuffy toys are one of the only “soft” toys that my dog can have. He destroys other toys in 5 mins. Some Tuffy toys he can still get a hole in in a day or so. But

Tuffy toys are one of the only “soft” toys that my dog can have. He destroys other toys in 5 mins. Some Tuffy toys he can still get a hole in in a day or so. But this one is bigger so it’s hard for him to chew on like the smaller ones. Except the ears and the tail. He will have them off soon. This toy is the best so far. It’s lasted long enough and is big enough that it is well worth the money. I plan on getting him another one for Christmas because it seems the best bang for my Buck. (I have a 85lb golden retriever that is a hard chewer).

This toy is big for my pup, a 30 pound medium, and heavy-and she drags it around everywhere. She has not destroyed it nor eaten any holes in it. The tail and ears are disposed of but it is a truly tough toy. She loves it. I’m saving my other purchases for Xmas.

Recommended with caveats: I bought this toy as part of a buy 3 get one free deal for my Great Dane/Mastiff puppy. He loves plush toys so I've been on the hunt for something durable enough to keep up with him. 3 stars given because he LOVES this toy. 2 stars deducted because he had an ear off within minutes and has worked the head open. The fluff inside is one of the safer types I've seen. It's cottony and easy for him to spit out, so I've let him keep the toy to continue destroying it under supervision only. The legs are fortified with a firm material that hasn't been excavated yet, but I'm sure given another day or two it will be revealed. The ripstop edging and tail are decent and would probably hold up to a light/moderate chewer, but for heavy chewers this toy is a consumable item.

He found a weak seam

Our 2 yr Cattle Dog mix LOVES this giant thing, but he found a weak seam in the center of its belly, after only owning it for a few hours. This seam isn't reinforced

Our 2 yr Cattle Dog mix LOVES this giant thing, but he found a weak seam in the center of its belly, after only owning it for a few hours. This seam isn't reinforced like the others, so it popped right open. I'm going to try to stitch it back up and see how long it lasts. A little disappointed for a $30 toy to break on its very first day. But Rufus does love it.

Heavy chewing dogs

While my 2 70-92# dogs can chew into this quickly, they both enjoyed tugging this back and forth, pulling out stuffing, shaking it and now slowly dismemberment
