Wow! I was blown away with the quality of this litter box. Honestly was expecting overpriced cheap flimsy plastic - this is such a sturdy box & the tall walls are even very thick & sturdy! I watched the video on the product page & as soon as I saw the walls sit INSIDE the pan, I was sold. Every other litter box where the top and bottom portions meet, pee is destined to escape but not with this genius design! I was also pleasantly surprised that extra care was taken for shipping. This was shipped in a box inside the chewy box. Some might say wasteful, I say smart and appreciate the extra care for my purchase. We are moving into a camper for a year & I had specific measurements I was looking for - happy to say this fits pretty well where I needed it to. I do wish the opening was more on the long side than the corner, but I think it should work just fine. I highly recommend this litter box with the high sides!

Best for privacy and ventilation

Best thing for my older cat. She needs a view but also privacy, especially from her youngest sister, who wants to jump or creep on her while she's doing her business

perfect size

The Tuft + Paw Cubby is a great litter box. Truly non-stick box. Casey is an aggressive burier that won't use pellets. This box does a good job of containing the litter and is much more sanitary, no scratch marks. Casey was a shelter, believe feral, adoption who never has had a litter box issue. Sweet, but still skittish. I selected for the clear sides. I tried a cheaper one that didn't have clear sides, and Casey refused to enter it. I placed the empty box so he could get used to the Chubby before filling it with litter and placing the box in the usual spot. Casey approves of it, also.

Too much plastic for my cats.

I have two female cats that were not interested in their new boxes because of the high sides. When I removed the plastic sides they began using the boxes. I appreciate

I have two female cats that were not interested in their new boxes because of the high sides. When I removed the plastic sides they began using the boxes. I appreciate the fact that the boxes are non-stick, but I now have two big plastic accessory pieces that are a total waste. I have read that cats are not interested in privacy, but want to see that no danger is around while they are vulnerable; so I assume that's the issue with my cats. Learning your cat's behavior quirks is expensive. I will say that the size of the boxes is okay. My larger cat weighs 10.5 lbs.

Easy to keep clean

Better than the Cove!

I bought the Cove before I bought the smaller "Cubby." I was looking for a large box for my 4 large cats, with no complicated entry but sides that might help contain the spray of litter that somehow finds its way into every room and crevice of my home. At first, I was quite pleased with the Cove--it doesn't really contain the litter that much, but it's good-looking, large, and I thought the built-in scoop feature was clever. But now that I've bought this smaller model for 1/3 of the price, I feel like an idiot. The "Cubby" model is still very large, and for the $130 I would have saved eschewing the Cove, I could have certainly lived without an attached scoop! I really don't use the hand broom and dustpan, as they are no match for the scattered litter, so--yeah. My advice--buy this for $69 vs the $199 Cove--I strongly urge you to save your money; I wish I had. I will deduct one star for the fact that I think the company should make a "cubby" specific, non-plastic, silicone catch mat, with a high lip around the perimeter and a cut out for the box so that the mat extends around the sides but has the greatest length in the front, near the entrance/exit.

My cat is a kicker and would literally leave piles of litter on the side of the box every morning, i didn’t like the idea of a fully hooded one for her because my restroom gets really hot so when I found this one I just had to get it! It’s easy to take care of and just so visually pleasing. A tad bit expensive but worth every penny.
