Neither kitty uses it. Rating based only on my expectations. Both Baby and Bibbitt are large, tall cats. This item would be perfect for kittens and small cats.

Top came off

The top of the scratching post came off and there were staples sticking out of it. I’m glad I was there when it happened because it could have injured my cats

The top of the scratching post came off and there were staples sticking out of it. I’m glad I was there when it happened because it could have injured my cats. We were able to use screws to put it back on. My cats like it but it is light weight and moves around. This would be best for kittens.
