How is this litter with long haired cats? I typically buy crystal litter instead of clumping because otherwise it is caught in their hair. I know this doesn’t clump. Does it get stuck?

This litter is made with sand-like silica gel crystals and offers superior moisture and odor-trapping qualities. It's super absorbent and will not adhere to your cat's long fur.

What color do the crystals turn after a cat has urinated?

When a cat urinates on the Ultra Pearls the crystals absorb the liquid waste and turn opaque with the absorbed liquid. Over the next several hours the water portion will evaporate into the air while the solids that are in urine (and cause odors) will be trapped inside the crystals. The clear crystals will start taking on a yellowish hue over the month as the crystals absorb more and more of the suspended solids from the liquid waste.

How is it safe for your pet if under the precautions it says to keep contents out of reach from children and pets????

While the litter pearls are non-toxic, it's not recommended for them to be digested. As a precaution, it's advised to keep litter out of reach from children and pets so it isn't being played with or eaten. This litter is safe to be used for cats and kittens over 12 weeks of age.

is it OK to flush feces when using Ultra Pearls Micro unscented non clumping cat litter

It is not recommended to flush these pearls or cat feces and dispose of it in a garbage receptacle.

Will stop buying, something changed

I’ve been using this for years and I’ve loved it, but recently I noticed the bag imaging changed and I think they also changed the formula of the crystals. They are tracking everywhere in my house and getting all over my cats feet. Was never a problem before but they do seem smaller. Anyways I won’t be buying anymore and trying something new, it’s on the floors, the sofa, when she hops in my bed I’m getting litter in the blankets, sheets etc.

Tracking is not terrible and odor control is pretty good after a few days

I bought this to temporarily replace my regular wood chip litter because I will be having guests at home and wanted to try a litter that causes less mess. Overall

I bought this to temporarily replace my regular wood chip litter because I will be having guests at home and wanted to try a litter that causes less mess. Overall it's pretty good. At first the smell was not controlled but it improved after a few days, probably due to ambience humidity. My kitten is long haired and very playful and is constantly dragging the litter around the house. Because this silica litter is heavier than the wood chips there's less tracking. Long term I'll probably go back to the wood litter as it's healthier but I found this to be a good economic alternative.

I only use this for one cat not even a full month and it seems it’s not absorbing as I was hoping. I’m trying to save money and I was hoping it would go the full month, but I don’t think it will And 5 pound is plenty.

I've been using this brand for over a year and liked that my cats don't track it as much as other brands. I have 2 cats and change the litter every 2 weeks. Over

I've been using this brand for over a year and liked that my cats don't track it as much as other brands. I have 2 cats and change the litter every 2 weeks. Over the last 3 months, I've had to change the litter every week as the crystals are not absorbing the urine as it used too. This has doubled my litter costs. NOT GOOD! I will be changing brands.

This an excellent product!!
