The smaller slots are approximately 1 inch long. The large slots are approximately 4 inches long. Both are approximately ½ inch wide.

The picture looks Lavender or purple .. is this the correct color ?

size of shovel for litter no disappointment

Great litter scoop! I have 3 cats so cleaning is not my favorite chore. This scoop is large and very sturdy. Makes the clean out much easier.

Cracked near handle less than a month of use

Plastic should be more substantial near where handle meets scoop portion. I heard it crack when using the scoop recently and know it will fail completely soon.

The wrong color?

The best scoop out there.

The Long handle helps me get to the whole litter box, without feeling like I'm IN the litter box. The leverage for getting stuck clumps unstuck is great, too.
