Is this ok for dogs?

Cat grass can be fed to cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and small animals. Sprouting grass seeds for your pet gives them a safe, toxin-free dietary supplement and helps keep them from eating possibly toxic houseplants. Adjust the serving size according to the size of your pet. Cat grass can be eaten directly out of the pot or clipped and added to food.
I have 2 cats. Do i need 2 kits?

not a good product

The instructions said to add WAY more water than needed so then it was flooded for over three days and did not grow or do anything but sit in a bowl of water. It finally had some sprouts after well over a week but never fully grew into grass that my cat could enjoy. It had mold in it from standing water and barely any sprouts. It was her birthday present bc she’s an inside kitty and she and I were very disappointed.

Did not grow

I followed the directions, added the seed and water, put in a warm, dark spot for a week, when I went to move it to a sunny spot and all I had was mold. The seeds never germinated. This was a replacement for one (different brand) that I bought from Chewy's but it was packed in a box with cans and was crushed during shipping. The dirt was all through the box. Maybe the other brand works but I didn't get to try it.

Great Product

My cat loves his grass so much that he took it off the countertop a day before it was ready to be given to him! It germinated quickly and was satisfying to watch it grow so quickly. Great value for money.

Great treat

He likes it. Only downside is he is able to pull the roots up from the planter while nibbling on the grass.

Gets moldy

The soil gets moldy before the grass grows. I was worried that was not safe for cats so I had to throw it out. The dish it comes with is clear and like a plastic takeout bowl, not like the picture.

My new cat lovea this

I used this to help distract and refocus my new devilish shelter cat. He loves this grass, and it helped break him of eating all my house plants.

Moldy soil, grass won't grow

I am totally disappointed in this product, and so is my kitty who sits by the container waiting for something to pop up. She knows what it is-we got maybe 10 small springs from all those seeds. We tried twice to no avail. I hope Chewy will reimburse me for the 3 I ordered or send me another brand. And now I have to also adjust my autoship. We followed the instructions very carefully as I had noted some neg. reviews but figured they didn't maybe follow instructions well or it was a bad batch.

Catgrasses

Arrived crushed in between all other stuff that was ok. Dirt spilled in entire package. Unable to use container for planting seeds.
