If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

How long after applying can I wash my dog

This product remains effective when treated animals are immersed in water (e.g. swimming, bathing). Water immersion repeated weekly for one month and starting 48 hours after treatment, as well as shampooing 2 weeks after treatment do not affect the efficacy of this product. However, in case of frequent shampooing, or bathing within 48 hours after treatment, the duration of activity may be reduced.

If it’s raining and I applied it at 5pm the day before is it already dried and water proof? At 6-7am the next morning?

My dog used to be 20 lbs, now he’s up to 25 lbs.Both of us have gained weight during this pandemic :( Will this be effective on him? I have 4 treatments left.Can I use 2 treatments on him at once since he’s over the weight?I don’t want to waste it but will if it’s not effective or safe for him.

This treatment is made for dogs 11-20 pounds. For dogs over 20 pounds we recommend the Vectra 3D Flea & Tick Treatment for Medium Dogs.
