Bathe your pet the day before applying EcoMange.
Gently clean debris and excess drainage from the affected area with a paper towel or soft, clean towel.
Shake bottle well, and holding bottle upright, spray affected area(s) generously, ensuring to bypass the fur and saturate the skin. Please take care to avoid sensitive areas such as the animal's eyes, mouth and genitals.
Give your pet a treat and allow the affected area to dry.
Repeat steps 3 & 4 every two days for 1 week, then once per week until no longer needed.
I live with a lab/border collie mix (Atticus) that once yes, once suffered from skin rash and mange mostly under his armpits. It was so bad that his fur lost in the areas under his arms and started spreading further along his chest area. I've used EcoMange once a day after wiping down or bathing Atticus and after 1-2 days the puffiness was gone and fur was already starting to grow. A week later and full hair is grown back and the "ring" if you will, is gone. The skin is still healing so I add a very thin layer of soothing ointment. He doesn't scratch at all now and seems obviously happier. I'm keeping this on hand so when we are going to go to the park or whatnot I will spray his underbody and legs a tad for protection.
The smell is not bad but I saw no improvement with my pup.
I have used it on puppies with deodemic mange. I have not seen any improvement. I followed directions and washed them before using it. The puppy continued to lose hair after being washed in a sulfa anti-parasite that usually works, dipped, then instead of dipping again I used this. She also has Tetrad which is supposed to kill mites. I have given her immune system builders, prebiotics, and probiotics but still dealing with this nasty stuff. She is eating quality food too. So, I plan on using this on young pups before they get this nasty puppy mange. Unfortunately, Chihuahuas are one breed which is prone to getting it. I will continue trying it. I have two bottles. I pray that it does work because I don't like chemicals.
My puppy had a few spots of redness, scabbing, and hair loss for about a month before I found this product. I wasn’t able to get him into the vet, and I had tried an anti fungal shampoo and other home remedies without any improvement. I was skeptical of this spray at first, but decided to give it a try before taking him to an urgent care facility (which would have cost over $200). After a few applications I started to notice improvement, and only two weeks later the texture of his skin is back to normal and he is no longer itching. It’s still slightly red and the hair is still gone, but I’m confident this will keep improving based on other reviews I’ve seen. The spray bottle is super convenient and makes application easy!
When I sprayed this on my dog that is having severe skin issues right now, he may go half an hour without scratching but then he goes right back to scratching.
Still trying it on my cat!IT IS A TIME CONSUMING SITUATION AS MY CAT LIKES TO LICK HIMSELF AND IDON’T WANT HIM TO GET SICK !
Having an issue with your animals skin. This product is perfect.
Great stuff! I'll buy again and again thank you thank you. It works!
same as above but should have something else with it for the greasyness!
I believe this is a good product, but in my cats case, what I thought was mange was actually a flea allergy. This was a stray and had been treated for fleas with revolution, twice. So I thought I was looking at a mange infection. Didn't want to run up another vet bill. So tried to figure it out myself. Now $300.00 later, it was flea allergy, not mange. Chewy was great. They refunded my second bottle of mange meds. So how do you know? mange or something else.
