Omgoodness it worked
By Itchybutt on Feb 25, 2021
I have a 6 yr old pit mixed. Her name is Mischievous and she had a serious itching problem around her armpits lol, on her hind quarters where the tail meets the butt and on her poor little nips and her stomach area. I’ve changed her diet reach results in many upset stomachs which led me to believe it must be a skin problem which is why I bought this product. I and she as well are overjoyed by the results that have shown she no longer has any itchy problems and didn’t have to change her diet. Thanks chewy

Itching vs flea itches
By dogmom101 on Jan 25, 2021
I got this because my dog was itching by his butt area. he ended up getting an infection from him itching so much. I read the comments figuring this would help him. I used this shampoo which smells great but it didn’t help him from itching. I ended up changing shampoos. I think I’ll continue using flea & tick shampoo over this. < he doesn’t have fleas but that seems to stop itching more then this stuff. but every dog is different. I would try it. it worked a couple of times but after that it stopped.

Did the Job!
By FivePack on Nov 24, 2020
One of our smaller dogs (Rocky) developed red, raw skin on his back near tail. Very itchy for the boy. He wears a male wrap 24/7, and I thought maybe I hadn't rinsed them adequately. I became more diligent about that. I also decided to try an anti-itch shampoo. We bathed him and within days, our two-pronged approach did the trick.

Bricklin's itch
By Handsome on Jan 9, 2021
My boy always seems to suffer from summer skin issues. I've used other Veterinary Formula shampoos, in the past, so I was also pleased with this product.

Didn't work
By star on Oct 12, 2020
Didn't work. My heeler/border collie is still itching like crazy and biting herself. We tried this because of seasonal allergies she has had dry flaky skin and got a hot spot on her tail rump area. And this did nothing but make her hair really soft. I had to use alot at that because it doesn't lather well. Reviews said it was good so thought it may help but it doesn't work for her. It may work for others I guess.

good stuff

Seems to work well for itching related to dog allergies. The scent is somewhat medicinal, but not overpowering or unpleasant. Would purchase again.

Golden Hotspots
By GoldenDad on Sep 10, 2020
I got this because two of my golden retrievers started to get very itchy and hot spots on their tummies and hind ends. I have now been using this and the conditioner for about three months and have seen a huge improvement in their skin and coat. All bald patches have now regrown with luscious fur and their skin doesn’t seem to have as many flakes. I also added fish oil to their diet around the same time, so I feel like a combination of all three products has worked the magic. We did use the hot spot spray from the same line, it was very helpful in the beginning when things were scabbed and healing. It helped with irritation from the lawn and moisture. Relieved paws!
By Jami on Sep 28, 2020
Our dog was having so much trouble with her paws after walking outside! Would come in and lick her feet until red and sore causing her to limp. I made up a wash to use on her feet each time she would come in from potty trips and with doing so managed to get her feet healed up. And it gave her relief immediately after bathing or just washing her feet!

It Actually Works!
By Miguel on Oct 1, 2020
Bought this to bathe a cat with flea allergy dermatitis. It is best to leave the shampoo on the animal for the full ten minutes. Following these instructions definitely helped keep my cat from overgrooming/pulling fur.
