Wash worked fine, but according to my Vet, dog ears need to have wash that will evaporate/ quick dry. After I put this in, she got an ear infection, which most likely was caused by the wash.
My dog was scratching up his ear and it wasn’t going away, this worked.
i use this once a week as a preventative on my mini lop as they’re more prone to wax build up & ear infections
We use this to clean our sphynx cats eats 2x a week or as needed, it works well, her ears get very dirty very fast (no hair means way dirtier ears) so I’m still trying some other cleaners to see if there’s a better option. But for a regular cat with fur, this will probably be more then fine.
You cannot go wrong with any Vetericyn product. I have been using their products for years on all by rescue dogs and non-rescue dogs.
This ear cleaner was inoffensive, without any fragrance which was a huge plus. It didn't appear to sting and was easy to use. It was quite watery (less soapy than others), and it did not seem to get as much gunk out of my dogs ears as some other fragrance free options.
I have a cat that gets buildup in his ears and this works great. Luckily it comes out slowly so no big response and it cleanses the ear canal well. I think used regularly it will prevent any problems!
My outdoor cat has an ear infection I believe, I gave this 3 stars because it has not cleared his ear infection, but it does seem to give him some relief until i’m able to take him to the vet.
Vetericyn products are the best I have ever used for over the counter products they are amazing and easy to use without any problems.
Significant improvement after just one application.
