Our aging dog began getting very distressed at times near the end of his life. This didn't happen before. We wanted to calm him down, to ease his distress. We didn't know if any non-pharmacy product would really help but it did! It works really well. It offered stress relief to the dog and, when he did better, we did too. (We will miss him forever)

I have a special medication for my German Shepherd dog that helps with anxiety for things like Fireworks, before a visit to the vet, groomer, or claw trimming. Since I use the medication sparingly, for bigger needs, i use this for when I need to leave her with the sitter for an extended period of time, during thunderstorms, short errands when I have to leave her alone, an active house with guests, just to take the edge off. From what i've seen while I am at home, It doesn't make her sleep, it just mellows her out a little. Helps her be more approachable with new guests, and less whiney about thunderstorms. It's not super strong, but it takes the edge off.

Purchased these for my 2.5-year-old (male) golden retriever for when we are at someone else’s house. I love his energy, but sometimes it’s a lot for others so I wanted to see if these could bring them down in a couple notches. I’ve only tried them three times and I didn’t notice a difference, but they were all different scenarios so hard to compare apples to doggy downers! Gave three stars because he seems to like them so taste wise I would say yes and they didn’t put him in a coma so that is alsogood
