I really like these! I think this is a good alternative for dogs who are averse to having their ears flushed traditionally. I have an aussie/pit mix who refuses

I really like these! I think this is a good alternative for dogs who are averse to having their ears flushed traditionally. I have an aussie/pit mix who refuses to let you put a bottle of cleaner near her head so normally I have do drench cotton balls in cleaner and squeeze them into her ear canals. These mitts are helpful since I can get into the nooks and crannies of her ears better, and she doesn’t seem to mind them. It is a bit harder to fit the mitt into smaller ears, though, like my 4lb chihuahua who has super tiny ear canals. The smell of the cleanser is refreshing and they fit my small fingers nicely (they seem like they would fit larger hands as well).

Seems to work pretty well and gets the job done. My kitty’s ears were in need of a cleaning and being able to wipe his ear quickly is appreciated. I always turn the finger wipe around and utilize the second side if it’s still clean. The smell of the wipe was the only thing I couldn’t decide how I felt about it.

My pomeranian's ears get very dirty, very easily in between his grooming appointments. So i decided to try these out. They actually work pretty well. I could maybe use a bit smaller of a size, due to his size. But if i use them on my pinky, they work well. Just damp enough to get the ear clean. I'm glad their not too wet.

Overall I felt like this did what they were meant to do! All four of my dogs let me clean out their ears with these wipes and seemed to fuss with them less. Three of them have upright ears and tolerated it well. My boy with resting ears was very suspicious but did let me clean them.

The cleaning mitts tend to be more appropriate for bigger dogs/ears. They seemed to be too long and thick to comfortably clean my smaller dog and cat's ears. The scent is kind of strong, so the dogs were a little nervous about the cleaning as well. However, the mitts did a very good job of cleaning out the ears and maintaining better ear health.
