Can this be used for a dogs yeast/ fungal ear infection?

Clotrimazole is a topical antifungal for dogs and cats that aids in the treatment of fungal infections and other skin disorders. This will not help with a yeast/fungal ear infection.

Vetoquinol Clotrimazole Antifungal Solution Droppers is an antifungal used to topically treat infections such as ringworm and yeast infections. We recommend checking with your veterinarian to make sure it is an appropriate treatment as not all skin infections are yeast related.

My dog had some small spots that looked like a minor fungal infection/possibly ringworm - and he was licking them like they were itchy. He only had a couple of small areas, so I thought I would try this first. This worked for it and cleared it right up. It would depend on the issue a dog is having, and is not a substitute for a veterinarian, of course. I put it on lightly at night after he was sleepy and told him not to lick it because I was worried about him ingesting it.

It is NOT the products fault that your pet doesn’t like it, nor is it because you didn’t take the time to read up on it or watch the very helpful video that comes BEFORE buying it. No animal likes anything put in its ear or anywhere else on its body that is new to them. Again it is NOT the products fault for you to give a bad review. So why give 1-3 stars then say it cured my pets fungal problem!!!!

The solution, with dropper, is convenient to use!

My dog gets fungus growth in his floppy ears. I am going to use this to treat it so he hopefully doesn't get it again. I will also use the antiseptic wipes to help

My dog hates it. Too rough for ears.

Unlike other ear drops we used before, this one seems to be too rough. Poor dog couldn’t stop shaking her head and scratching herself for an hour after every application

Unlike other ear drops we used before, this one seems to be too rough. Poor dog couldn’t stop shaking her head and scratching herself for an hour after every application. Probably caused a lot of burning and itching. We had to stop using it after 4 days, so not sure if it would help the infection.
