Formulated and Approved by Veterinarians
VetriScience uses veterinarian feedback to develop condition-specific products for common pet health issues. Vetri Lysine Plus was designed to support your cat's immune system and normal respiratory function, and to help clear up watery eyes. The active ingredients help the body to repair tissue and produce the antibodies needed to fight infections such as URI.
Powerful Active Ingredients
The secret behind Vetri Lysine Plus is a synergistic blend of two active ingredients that support immune system function. The amino acid L-lysine supports the production of antibodies to help neutralize bacteria and viruses. It also plays a part in collagen formation and tissue repair to promote healthy skin and help heal wounds. DMG is included to strengthen your cat's immunity so she can ward off viruses and illness more easily.

I had been giving my cats a different brand lysine treat for months that was great! So soft I was able to crumble it and mix it with their kibble food and they loved the smell of it (me.. not so much) ... But I ordered this brand because we were new to chewy because our cats food is only on here so we figured why not... but these treats are much harder than the other brand and I have to really apply pressure to tear them apart and they are still pretty solid chunks. They dont have as potent of a smell so my cats are not as enticed by them. I will probably be switching back to their original treats when this bag is empty.

I tried these on my male cat that is 4 years old and he loved them...his runny eye has decreased in one week and he stopped his occasional sneezing! He reminds me in the AM and PM to give him 2 of these! Definitely worth the try! I will suggest you have your Pet on a good food line as well. My cat eats Grain Free Wilderness Trout by Blue Buffalo and 1/4 can of there moist food in winter months daily. He also eats treats...All Blue Buffalo.
Not Soft Chew
on Feb 13, 2018
These chews are not soft chews. They are quite firm but wouldn't be considered crunchy. The crunchy choose I use, Greenies, are softer in crunch then these chews. These are difficult for my geriatric cats to eat. For the younger cats, they ate them whole, which is not ideal. It's disappointing because they are at a good price. But as far as I can tell the product serves its purpose.
Delicious according to my cats.

I have three cats - one is a very picky eater and the other two are not. I bought this product to help eye problems in one cat and he likes these chews very much. I break the chews in half for the two cats who enjoy them. One suggestion to keep the chews fresh is to press the air out of the bag before using the zip lock seal. The treats are solid but not hard. They are the consistency of a chewy granola bar. They break easily.

I have a stray that I feed (her two sons live with me, but she is just one step too wild to get into the house), and she had drippy, red eyes. This product was recommended to me by a local pet rescue, and it did the trick - her eyes are clear for the first time. I'll be buying this again as soon as the bag runs out! And I didn't mention that she loves them! Thanks!
Cat loves these

I'm unsure if these have any medical effects or not but I'm willing to give them to her just incase. My cat loves these she has no idea they are anything but a treat. I've had two different vet's tell me two different stories about these. But one thing they both agree on is they can't hurt my cat if I follow the directions. Hope this helps someone else.
4 Unhappy Cats
on Jan 5, 2018
I bought these along with a lysine gel to help my four kitty boys with their sometimes respiratory issues - even though they are inside kitties. They will not eat them. One of my boys tried it and never tried it again. I feel it was a waste of money for me. I should've gotten more lysine gel and just given them the gel - as I do - in a syringe for their immune systems. I love Chewy, but not sure if I can send these back.
Great product for cat's allergy & immunity
on Jan 2, 2018
I have 4 cats. Olive was started on these for an allergy that made her break out in acne all over her head & neck. She even got acne on her eyelids, chin, and ears. The episodes were very frequent, but since starting her on this (her Vet sold me some) , her episodes have decreased in frequency & in severity. Her life is so much better now because of Lysine. And her overall health is better too. And since my other cats demand these "treats" too, they are all in better health too. Every ones' fur is so shiny even. More energy.
(I have to admit..when the vet Rx'd this product, I was thinking... "Yeah, right...he's just Rx-ing me an expensive product to make more money off this visit". BUT...I gaveI have 4 cats. Since finding Chewy.com...my life is so much better!… more
Won't eat them
on Feb 5, 2018
I tried these on 3 cats. 2 cats at first would eat them if I broke them up, but that only lasted until the 3rd day, then they would not even touch it. My 3rd cat will only eat it here an there, so without that consistency, they're not beneficial enough to him. So they were a waste of money for me.
Helped heal cat's skin issue!
on Feb 4, 2018
My cat had multiple scabs on his skin that 3 kinds of antibiotics would not clear up and even though we decided to do antibiotics a 4th time, I believe these helped tremendously in his healing. Taking Lysine was recommended by a friend and I'm glad we listened and purchased it.
