Feeding Instructions

Vitakraft Egg Food can be served in three different ways: 1) Sprinkle 2 Tbsp. of dry Egg Food over your birds daily diet. 2) Moisten 2 Tbsp. of Egg Food with enough water or juice to make a moist crumble texture, and serve in a separate feed cup. 3) For extra variety, try combining chopped fruit, greens, or sprouts and seeds to moistened Egg Food. For convenience, a larger batch can be prepared at once and refrigerated for up to 1 week. Remove and discard any uneaten food daily. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times. Store in a cool, dry place.

MY BUDGIES LOVE IT

I raise English budgies. I routinely give my birds a soft food supplement. I always add this egg food into the mix. They gobble it up. Sure is a lot easier than cooking, peeling, and chopping up eggs. Plus it has added nutrients. Vitacraft donated a generous sampling of their various products for our All-American budgie show. Great product. Great company. Thanks again.

Birds love it

I gave this review 4 stars only because I don't really know if it makes them healthier. My parakeets and cockatiels are pretty darn healthy to begin with :) The 4 star review is because they love it. All of them dive right in when sprinkled on food and none is left. This is easier than crumbling egg shells, which don't go over as well, or even cooked eggs.
