Store Vital Essentials freeze-dried products in a cool dark place. They do not need to be refrigerated.
Both of our cats really liked the little pieces of freeze dried duck liver. Even my brother's Goldendoodle begged some when she visited. I first tried them as a topper for their wet food. They ate them and ignored the rest of the food. Now, I use them as a separate treat.

Awesome
This is a healthy treat. Only one ingredient and no fillers or additives that can cause allergies. It’s perfect for my cats cause it comes in little crunchy cubes that they love. They can never have enough.

Okay but smelled rotten
I've given my cat many freeze-dried treats, which she loves, and now that she apparently has allergies to common proteins, I'm expanding. These duck livers are similar to chicken livers, which she loves. She ate and loved them. However, they smelled like decomposing animal (like when chicken goes bad or a poisoned mouse dies inside walls and starts decomposing...some of you will know what I mean). They didn't make her sick, and she had no issues. I don't know if I just got a bad bag, but I would not likely buy again.

Fan favorite, Very crumbly
I have 3 cats all with unique needs and tastes. Finding something all 3 can have as a treat can be difficult at times! So single ingredient treats are always a good choice in my household. Even my pickiest kitty goes wild for these freeze dried delights. The only thing I wish was different is the chunks. I got a handful of actual chunks of the treats I could feed and then the rest of the bag was basically a powder. Made for a great topper to get them to eat their meals, but impractical for my intended use, an after medicine treat.

Another No from my 6
I'm always looking to try new treats for my crew, and like typical cats, just when I think I have them figured out they throw me a curveball. None of them would touch these. I left them out on their treat mat to see if maybe they would graze on them throughout the day, but they were left where they lay. I am giving them to the ferals now, and if they won't eat them the magpies will.

Delicious
All my cats except one go crazy over this! The treats are mostly nicely cubed but unfortunately a lot of it was small bits & powder. It would be great if all the pieces are larger & remains intact. Like that the pieces are dry & crispy on the outside and soft & chewy on the inside. It smells but my cats love them & organ meat is good for them. It’s quite costly for so little. Bigger sized intact treats in larger bags with reduced cost would be better.

My Cats Love it!
I mix these small treats into their food, usually in the smaller morning feeding, and they gobble them and the canned food down!

hit or miss
Two kittens and one loves this and one refuses to try it. I think I might get it again for the one who loves it; they are still developing their tastes for different textures and flavors but having a treat that one won't eat means they might not steal it from their sister when she is eating it.
