Wellness Beef Stew Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for growth & maintenance except for growth of large size dogs (70 lb. or more as an adult).
Does this have an easy-open top? I can't see it in the picture and it does not say in the description.

Once the can is opened, how many days is the food good for?

If the canned food is well covered or sealed from the surrounding environment, the food should last up to 3-4 days. It is advised to consume before this time. The storage conditions and general hygiene of the refrigerator, as well as how long the food has sit out exposed will have determining effects on the safe storage of the canned diets.

They are skimping in the amount

So, the 1 star is due to the company skimping out on the amount they are now putting into the containers. I've been buying this for years now and the food is always filled to the lip of the container, now they are missing between 1/4-1/2 inch in each one. Yes, there's a supply chain issue, but don't jack up the price and give us less. As you can see in the picture how much is missing. This is the amount in each one I have opened from my last purchase.

No longer a staple in my home.

Both of my dogs used to like this but it appears when the packaging changed, the formula also changed. One of my dogs stopped eating it for a bit and then ate it on day 3 only to throw it up the next morning and spend the next day eating grass, crying on and off to get outside, (which he dos repeatedly when sick.) I thought it was a coincidence but every time he actually does eat this food the following day he throws up and cries all day to go outside to eat grass. My other dog, it gives him the WORST gas. You literally cant even be in the same room with him its so bad. So, while it was a staple in my home, it isn't going to be in the future.

Great Canned Food!

Love that this food doesn't have any chicken or Carrageenan, which is very hard to find. Both my dogs loved this food. The chunky texture is definitely more appetizing.

Great stew!

My newly adopted rescue loves both Wellness Beef Stew and Chicken Stew canned food. Her coat was a bit dry but after two weeks of Wellness stews added to her dry food, her coat looks great. I recommend this canned food!

You wouldn’t think

My dogs wouldn’t approach this one. You would think since they can eat the weirdest things off the floor or some poo they’d eat this. I’ve never seen them steer clear like they do with this one.
