Adults: To feed alone, feed 1 can/day for each 6-8 lbs of body weight, Kittens: 2X adult amount. To feed with dry, reduce dry by ¼ cup for every ½ can wet. Refrigerate unused portion.
The best way to transition your cat onto a new food is to gradually introduce the new food by mixing it with the old grub. Mixing the two—and increasing the new food gradually—will allow your kitty's taste and tummy to acclimate to the new recipe.

Smooth, calorie-dense pate that my cat is a fan of!

I'm glad to have finally found a decently calorie-dense beef recipe so that one can is able to last me about 2 days. My cat eats a wet-only diet, so it can get a bit costly sometimes. This is a great option! It's the smoothest pate that I've tried so far, and my picky cat is a fan! He did enjoy the beef recipe of a different, but similar brand, but that one wasn't calorie-dense enough to be cost-effective. He also prefers this over the chicken recipe that Wellness offers. This has passed the first-open taste test, the refrigerated-and-reheated taste test, and the one-day-old taste test! Kitty approved!

Our 4 cats, one of which is a super finicky eater love this! Since feeding Wellness to our cats about a month ago, their fur is soft and shiny and hardly any shedding!

All 24 cans that I bought contained nematodes

I purchased 24 cans of this flavor in March of 2020. I use the cans by date so it took a while before I opened the cans. All 24 cans contain nematodes. I know what nematodes look like and that's definitely what they are. My loss on this purchase is $79.68 just from this order. Before this, I also had to throw out an additional 24 cans of Beef and Chicken flavor that I bought in January that also contained nematodes. My loss for those two cases comes to $75.12. So my total loss for all four cases comes to an anger-inducing $154.80. I used to trust this brand. I will never buy anything made by Wellness again. And judging from other reviews that I've read on various retailer websites, my experience I purchased 24 cans of this flavor in March of 2020. Julie was itchy and licking her tummy bald. I switched her off of her diet of dry food containing chicken and corn on to half of this Wellness Beef and Salmon and half of another brand high quality limited ingredient dry food. It brings tears to my eyes the difference in her health! She is no longer itching, her belly fur is growing back, she has lost a pound, and behaves like she did when she was a kitten, and she's 7 1/2 yrs old! We tried different brands and flavors with no chicken and this was the one that she liked best and devours every day. Thank you Wellness!

Perfect 12 Oz can chicken free food!

We have 2 kitties, one who's allergic to chicken. They eat from each other's bowls so all food has to be chicken-free. I was looking for a 12 Oz can so I could feed them a good helping of wet food to supplement their wellness core dry food (also chicken-free!). They come charging when they hear the can open and this stuff disappears in minutes. I also don't mind the smell. This is part of a feeding regimen that keeps their bowels moving and their coats luxurious!
