Feeding Instructions

Feed according to the age, size and activity of your cat. If fed alone, feed 1 oz for each lb of bodyweight daily, best fed twice a day. Your cat should have access to clean, fresh water. Refrigerate after opening.

Transition Instructions

Weruva always recommends switching your cat or dog's diet slowly and to adjust according to your pet's digestive stability. Typically, a 6 day transition suites most pet's needs. We recommend feeding a mix of 25% Weruva & 75% of the previous food for the first 2 days. For the next 2 days, feed 50% Weruva & 50% of the previous diet. Days 5 & 6, Feed 75% Weruva with 25% of the previous diet. Your pet should be fully adjusted to an exclusive high-quality Weruva diet thereafter.

My cat devoured this, however, she is unable to continue to eat due to newly discovered renal disease. Too high in protein for her.

  • 3 cats, 3 different opinions!

    By on

2 cats would only eat canned food, while one preferred dry. After feeding them all Weruva Funk in the Trunk, they all three now eat canned, which is healthier for them and easier for me to judge how much each cat is eating. They love the pumpkin consomme, they eat every morsel in their bowls.

  • My cats turn their noses away!

    By on

My two cats (each about a year old) love the other Weruva products with chicken and turkey. However, they did not like this flavor and would rather starve themselves all night than eat this fish/turkey concoction. I still have 3/4 of the 24 case which I might donate to some cat charity. :(

  • Skull found

    By on

Decided to stop feeding my cats all Cats in the Kitchen due to the amount of bones found in them. This flavor is where I actually found a skull left behind in one of my cat bowls. Chewy.com has been wonderful with handling this matter and I will be able to order food we have not had issues with. Thank you.

  • Quigley likes it!

    By on

Quigley is a pixie bob-bengal mix who likes vegan (Wysong from Chewy) kibbles! Because of that, I try to feed him grain-free foods like his allergy-plagued brothers (Austeyn, the Manx, and Logan, the Snowshoe) have to eat! Some of the foods he will turn away from, but he really likes the chunks of sardine (with skin) that he finds in the aspic of Two Tu Tango Sardine, Tuna & Turkey. Austeyn will eat around the sardine pieces as will Logan. Still, it is a quality food and it's one of Quigley's favorites. The only negative is the aspic is thick, not like a sauce or gravy.

  • My cats love this food

    By on

I recently transitioned my cats off dry. I cannot believe how great this food looks. Big chunks of sardines, salmon, chicken. They love it. Their fur is shiny and soft, they stopped shedding, they are happier, more active. Wish I had bought this years ago!

  • Kitty likes it ...

    By on

Contents don't look particularly appealing (to me), each can usually has a few chunks of sardine and a thick sauce of other ingredients. I don't see turkey, must be microscopic particles. However, my cat definitely appreciates it, strange looks and all. We've tried a few of the Weruva flavors, and Goldie Lox is the winner (and it's lower in carbs and calories).

  • Our cats aren't fond of this flavor

You'd think FISH and CAT would click. I love the Weruva products, but this one neither of our cats liked very well.

  • I have crazy cats!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

This one wasn't a winner. Most of them are eating it, but reluctantly. Other cats would probably love it, but mine are so picky. And try getting 8 of them to like the same thing all at one time!

  • They like it.

    By on

Ha, sounds my standards are kinda low. They'll eat it. That's what matters. Serously, though, it's a quality food, and they seem to enjoy it. That all means a lot.
