We absolutely love the toppl! We have both the small and large sizes and several of each. They're great for a slow feeder as is for our little 17 year old dude who's got about a brain cell and a half and are really wonderful frozen with our high energy, off the wall pup's dinner. Sometimes we put two together and both dogs love that. Much easier to clean than others on the market and can be very versatile for different dogs (or growing puppies) ability and/or confidence levels. Obviously would buy again.
Me and my dogs are Kong challenged, we can't get anything out of such a tiny hole and I can't wash it . But this toppl is amazing - the top is completely open, my fingers can even touch the bottom! My poodle was able to get everything out of it too. Love it
This is great for a baby puppy. I puppy raise Lab mixes and these are a great kennel treat. Fill with kibble that has been soaked in water, stuff into the topple and freeze. You can mix a small amount of peanut butter in there also if your puppy tolerates it. These are not for a heavy chewers but usually good for a baby puppy. My current dog is 4 months.
I bought this as an attempt to get my giant puppy to take some meals/snacks in her crate. She could not get to very much of the stuffing in a Kong so it didnt hold her interest. So far this has worked great! I stuff some soft food in it and she works at it until its all gone! Yeah!
When I first offered this toy to my dog with food in it, he was afraid of it and insisted I hold it still while he licked the food out. Then when I offered it to him to play with it and get familiar with it, he started investigating it and before I even realized what was happening to it he had chomped a piece right off and was about to try eating it! I was pretty disappointed because my trainer recommended this toy and we have another one from the same company that works great.
I love toppls, they are much easier to fill and clean than kongs but still take my dog a while to complete. They are a bit pricey so I always wait until a sale to buy them, but definitely worth it.
Teddy the 9 month old Terrier mix tore through this in about 2 minutes. Submitted a claim directly to West Paw under their "Love it Guarantee" and exchanged for a "Qwzil" in just under two weeks. Great customer service and awesome domestically made products!
Great toy to keep the pup entertained! Highly recommend
This toy has been a lifesaver for our 4 month old Bernedoodle puppy. He struggles with the Kong and can never get out all of what we put in there. This, however, is great! We love to put different concoctions in it, freeze them, and let him go to town! It will keep him busy for almost an hour! He loves just chewing on it too, but he hasn’t destroyed it yet, and we’ve had it almost a month.
We have both the small and large versions of the Toppl and my greyhound, Moose is in love with them. I freeze wet kibble in them each night and he has them for breakfast in the morning. They have been priceless in helping us transition to me going back to the office.
