Have tried other brands in the past, and Mr. Guinea pig hasn't particularly liked them. This brand, he gobbled up his whole bowl in one sitting! (First time that had happened in 6 months!) Good quality, good smell, fresh food. Picky Guinea pig approved.
My piggies love this food more than the oxbow adult food. I had to buy 2 bags cause they eat more of this food than they did with the oxbow highly recommend it the only downside was trying to open the bag LOL it does reseal if you can open it the right way which I can't seem to do but I put it in a food container to keep fresh
The guineas love this stuff! Not to mention it’s a healthy blend with vitamin c.
This is the best Guinea pig food that I have found in the US. All 16 of my piggies love this food and squeak loudly for it every morning. This is also the only food I found without added sugars (molasses) or fillers (wheat millet/soy). Chewy also has the best price for this food by far. If you feed this to your piggies for the first time, remember to mix some of their old food in with it for the first bit, otherwise they may initial not want it.
Our piggies loved most of this as it has a much better balance of items shown in the picture than some other foods you see where you end up getting 80%+ pellets. The thing we noticed is they treat these pellets? (that almost look like guinea pig poop) by not eating very many of them. They like to pick around these and eat everything else instead. The food bowl always has the pellets left, but everything else is gone. So, we are glad they eat most of the food since they are picky, but there is a fair amount wasted because they won't eat most of the pellets for some reason.
my piggies love this food
My 4 pigs swarm me the second I pick up their bowl since getting this food. I'm pretty sure they'd murder me for it. Also, it smells so good I'm tempted to eat it myself. I wish they made a chinchilla formulation too!
Arrived on time and our guinea pig is happy! He would only eat this brand
I got this to try for my two guinea pigs, because another bag of something similar to it was already out of stock. After a couple of days, my girls started to turn the nose up at it.
I've used them all. Oxbow, Mazuri, and some of the cheaper pellets. I was hesitant to purchase this brand because I felt it was a little pricey, but figured my piggies are worth it. They love these pellets. Usually with blends like this they pick through and just eat the good stuff, but they love everything in this brand.
