NOT The Same Quality It Used To Be!
I've been buying this mixture every Fall for years to mix with another Wild Delights mix for my wild birds here. 20# of the Fruit N Nut mix and 15# of this Deck & Patio mix all blended together is the perfect recipe to keep all our wild birds (and squirrels) happy. It always lasts me a year+. This time, when I looked at the package of seeds, I was really shocked to see it's nearly ALL sunflower seeds now with some peanuts! I had to really pick through to find ANY pumpkin seeds! That's definitely not the mix we've been buying for years and years. Really disappointed in this. There must be at least 85% sunflower seeds, possibly 10% peanuts and then just a tiny smattering of pumpkin seeds as though they were just a quick after thought. What the heck happened, Wild Delights! After years and years of buying this mix from Wild Delights, I won't be buying this anymore. In my opinion, the quality has gone WAY down. I can buy shelled sunflower seeds for much less than this stuff costs.
Something strange about this mix
I am an avid birder. I buy bulk birdseed locally and online. I thought this cleaner mix was worth a try from Chewy. I’m certain it’s no fault of Chewy since they simply ship what they are supplied, but I have had an exodus of birds as I’ve gone to 70-30, heavily relying on this mix in two of my primary feeders. I tried it in the feeder in a different section of my yard and the same thing. I even mixed in dried mealworms and the birds are avoiding it. The only solution I have is to dump this seed and go back to another brand. It’s possible there were a few bad batches. I didn’t see any mold or other concerns, so I’m left scratching my head about why the birds do not like this seed.
Happy Winged Beings of All Sizes
I've been buying various types of birdseed recently to find one that will feed the most birds while leaving the least amount of mess. This food is perfect! It has no millet and no shells so the songbirds, turkeys, Steller's jays, woodpeckers, etc. gobble it up happily each day without leaving a mess for any nighttime rodents that might explore the area.
Clean seed no mess
I get these on a regular basis. Clean of dirt and other debris and work in just about any type of feeder. High in protein and fats that birds need.
Birds Love It
I have put this out for all kinds of birds and they all love it. We go through quite a lot, especially in the winter. There is absolutely no waste with this food.
Birds and all my other wildlife choose this food first!
Love that there are no shells... I put out multiple foods and this one always is gone first (besides the peanuts in shells!).
Bird seed
The seed we put in our window feeder is very busy. We wanted a mix in which the birds wouldn’t flip out most of it on the patio. The peanuts are the last eaten but the blue jays love those. It’s not cheap but it’s worth

I like to put this in a feeder tray as the doves just flock to it and the blue jays & cardinals like it also.
