I have a squirrel-proof bird feeder that's mounted on an overhang on my patio. Somehow, a squirrel figured out how to climb underneath and tip it so that the seed spilled out, and then it would climb back down to the patio and eat what it had dumped, the little demon. I tried many other things to keep it and its friends away, but nothing worked until I got the Squirrel Away food. Not only does the squirrel stay away from my feeder, but I can also put the food on the patio and it doesn't bother it at all. Finally!

Title says zero waste

Bought this for a birdfeeder in our backyard. That was weeks ago. Sadly, I still have half of it left in the birdfeeder. And yes, the squirrel try to eat it even

Bought this for a birdfeeder in our backyard. That was weeks ago. Sadly, I still have half of it left in the birdfeeder. And yes, the squirrel try to eat it even with the hot pepper. So I’ll keep looking for the perfect wild bird food in Central Florida. Glad it was a 5 pound bag.

Finally keeps the squirrels away!

After switching to this product, I caught a squirrel in this feeder ONCE... And I guess that was enough of a taste for him to stay away. No squirrel visitors on

Squirrels love it!

The birds (house finches and chickadees) seem to like it well enough, but the squirrels outsmarted every attempt I made to get them to leave it alone and devoured

The birds (house finches and chickadees) seem to like it well enough, but the squirrels outsmarted every attempt I made to get them to leave it alone and devoured half the bag themselves. Some out of the feeder, sure, but then they figured out how to pry the top off of a “locking” storage container and helped themselves to a buffet on more than one occasion. The “spicy” was no deterrent!
