One week is recommended, but the slower the better. Don’t switch too fast, it might cause an upset stomach. Day 1-2: Mix 25% Wild Earth dog food into 75% of your dog’s old food per meal. 25%/75%. Day 3-4: Mix 50% Wild Earth dog food into 50% of your dog’s old food per meal. 50%/50%. Day 5-6: Mix 75% Wild Earth dog food into 25% of your dogs old food per meal. 75%/25%. Day 7: Transition Complete! Fill 100% of your dogs bowl with Wild Earth goodness.

Can Wild Earth be used to feed puppies? We do not recommend our kibble for puppies. We chose our first food to meet and exceed adult dog nutritional requirements (an adult being defined as 1 year or older). AAFCO (the governing body in the US for dog nutrition) has different guidelines and Nutritional standards for different life stage claims - including puppy, adult and senior. This is why we see “puppy foods” and “adult dog foods.”
