We live in a rural area and our lot is wooded. We have tons of birds, including 5 different species of woodpecker. Especially in spring when they are raising young, they are eating us out of house and home. Also in winter if we have a lot of snow and it is very cold. Even the Piliated woodpeckers come and they are notoriously shy.
