can this be flushed?
Answer by ChewyOct 29, 2017
This litter formula is flushable and safe for septic and sewer systems.

How often should the litter be fully changed if 2 cats use 2 litter boxes?
Answer by ChewyOct 29, 2019
How often you need to change your cat litter depends on how many cats you have and how often they use the litter box. World’s Best Cat Litter™ harnesses the concentrated power of corn for long-lasting performance, and customers report that they don’t have to change the litter as often as with other cat litters. Twice a week is a general guideline for replacing litter, but depending on your circumstances, you may need to replace it every other day or only once a week. If you clean the litter box daily, you might only need to change clumping litter every two to three weeks.

Has the corn in this litter been treated with glysophate prior to or at anytime during processing?
Answer by ChewySep 10, 2018
Glysophate is added to soil during the planting of the corn.

can it be used for ferrets box
Answer by ChewyDec 09, 2020

strong ammonia smell

Wanted to get something other than clay to help the tracking cause I was so annoyed that the litter box was downstairs but somehow I always manage to find litter on my bed which is located upstairs. Did some research and read some reviews so I wanted to try this since its still small enough that it would work with my litter robot. The scent was nice and not overly overwhelming. Lavender is a scent that is a hit or miss. Noticed the tracking became remarkably less. My bed was not covered in litter but the problem was the dust. Saw little paw prints on my bedsheets, clothes or dark furniture when my sphynx sits on me. Disgusting. Also my house has this obscenely nauseating ammonia smell. Regardless of how much i refill the litter robot, it smelled so bad. Also because these were corn, my dog was trying to eat the litter so i dont think i’ll continue this.

I was using worlds best unscented litter and loved it but it smelled a little funky. Saw the lavender version and thought to myself, isnt lavender oil and fragrance toxic for cats? However, I told myself that this successful company must know what they’re doing. So, i bought it. Suddenly, my cat stopped eating, stopped pooping, and started peeing outside of her litter box for the first time. She was also itching everywhere like she had fleas. I just KNEW it was the litter. Changed back to her unscented and her health & habits returned to normal. Our fur babies can’t talk therefor they can’t tell us when we are making them sick. We need to do the research and be observant with them. Don’t use this litter and destroy their health just so your home can smell like flowers that are poisonous to them

Not good for long hair cats

I wanted to love this litter because finding a good litter is proving to be the hardest thing ever. My long haired kitty gets this stuff in his paws, he leaves the box with dust up to his elbows and licks it all off. I would not recommend for long haired cats. It seems to be a fine litter for my short hair kitty but I saw her eating pieces off the floor. I also would agree with other reviews here that the smell is a bit funky. The lavender is only existent when it's super fresh then it gets weird once one pee happens.

Just so-so

Not the greatest, nor the best, barely okay. I have a single cat. An automatic litter box that works well. This litter is only effective when I first place in bin. Every two days I am having to empty waste bin due to smell ~ it's disgusting. With other litter I could typically go a week before emptying waste. Also, having to completely replace this litter every 2 weeks vs monthly with other litter I've used. NOT cost effective, NOT odor effective. My cat could care less.

World’s Worst Smelling Cat Litter

I thought this brand may be better because of the ingredients and the price point, boy was I wrong! My home has been assaulted by the smell this litter makes when mixed with cat waste. Yes, the Lavendar one smells great fresh out the bag but after the first time you put it in the box no matter how much you add to it later it smells absolutely putrid, rancid. Your cheapest, off brand grocery store cat litter would be a much greater improvement. I don’t know how anyone can stand it. My home has never smelled worse!

Best Ive Found

This lavender corn litter is the best litter I have found for my two cats, granted I have only had them for a little over a year and don't have a whole lot of experience. But if you regularly clean this litter (1-2 times a day) then it has no residual smell, and doesn't stick to the walls too too badly. It does track a little, but with a mat you should be fine. Great stuff!

Covers smells, cats like it

I prefer World's Best over clay or silica litters that can be harmful to my or my cats' health. I've used the World's Best lavender litter for probably a decade now. Four cats over the years have been very happy with this litter. It smells pleasant enough but isn't overwhelming or perfumey. When I use the unscented one I feel like I can smell some urine, but I never smell urine with the lavender one. I'm a bit paranoid about my apartment smelling like a litterbox so I always ask people if it smells like cat, and they always say they don't smell anything unpleasant.

Does not mask smells

I have tried both of the worlds best litter multi cat and lavender and they have not covered any smells from the litter box despite it being cleaned daily. My cat is allergic to clay litter/scented dusty litter and he did not care for this one, started going to the bathroom in other places

Great litter, sickening fragrance

I tried the Lavender scented litter because it was touted as being "natural". It's not, and in fact is sort of sickening smelling. The litter itself is the best out there, in my opinion. Lasts FAR longer than any other brand, and I've tried them ALL. Less dust, clumps well. If you can tolerate fake smells, you would probably like this version.

It's in the name

I've used this litter for 12 years. It may as appear to be expensive, but it works so much better, you don't have to empty your litter box as often. It's also safe and leaves no dust I've used the others and this is the world's best.
